AAA Antonio Pena Memorial Show (Part 2) By: Xavier Hernandez Show aired on: 11/30/2008 The show opens with video packages that hype the upcoming matches, plus we look back at Konnan's shocking victory. *Pretaped Segment: El Brazo talks about Porky, and says his brother had to get into a tag match, because Porky knows he cannot beat Brazo by himself. Brazo claims that Porky's blood will spill all over the place, because he hates fat people. On the other hand, Porky says he's working on reinventing his moves. But Porky does not understand why has Brazo turned on him. Porky says he wants a "Hair vs. hair match" or a retirement match, because he wants Brazo to disappear. 1) Lumberjack Match Brazo de Plata, Pimpinela Escarlata, Fabi Apache & Mascarita Sagrada vs. El Brazo, Polvo de Estrellas, Cinthia Moreno & Mini Abismo Negro -First Fall: The lumberjacks are minis, and they have belts to hit anyone that lands outside. Constant tags are made, and the guys face their own kind. The heels are the ones that fall oit of the ring frrequently, and they are punished by the lumberjacks. Both Brazos land outside, but they take the belts to hit the lumberjacks. Cinthia lands outside, and Fabi gets her with a Diving Silla. Abismo lands outisde, and Mascarita hits a Diving Hurricanrana. In the ring, Pimpi pins Polvo with a Hurricanrana. Winners: Brazo de Plata, Pimpinela Escarlata, Fabi Apache & Mascarita Sagrada *Noti AAA: -One of the best and hottest female wrestlers will be back ver soon. Tiffany will return to AAA, after giving birth. -Jesus Zuniga interviews Psicosis, who talks about his recent Germany tour. He says it was great to wrestle there, specially having a title match against Steve Douglas. Psicosis is amazed that fans know about Lucha through the internet, because Lucha doesn't air in Germany. -AAA finally has its own headquarters or office building. They had ahuge ceremony to open the building, which included wrestlers and the Roldan-Pena family. 2) AAA World Tag Team Championship (Ladder Match) Joe Lider & Nicho El Millonario (c) vs. Teddy Hart & Jack Evans vs. Alan Stone & Chris Stone -First Fall: If you've seen the last few ladder matches from this company, then you know what's coming. All six men battle each other, using their own bodies as weapons. The Hermandad start using the ladder as a weapon on Alan Stone. Lider suplexes Hart into a ladder, and the Hermandad continues to dominate. Chris climbs the ladder, but Evans stops him. Evans now climbs, but Lider knocks him out, and Evans hits a Moonsault off the ladder on Chris. Both Harts climb ladder, but Lider knocks them down again. Chris now gets slammed in a ladder, and Alan falls off another ladder by himself. The Hermanded sets two tables together. Nicho climsb the ladder, but Chris follows him, Nicho tosses Chris into the double table, and retrieves the belts ( the rope they used to hang the belts was so weak, that when Nicho grabbed the belts, the rope almost reached the mat). Winners and STILL Tag Team Chapions: Joe Lider & Nicho El Millonario *Video Package: Summary of last week's cage match, where Konnan gained control of AAA (This video looks pretty similar to the ones WWE uses a day after a PPV). *Pretaped Segment: Jesus Zuniga interviews Joaquin Roldan. He's happy that the AAA headquarters are ready (an idea of Antonio Pena). Roldan is mad, because Konnan promised to hand the ahses back, but he hasn't. Roldan is also mad because the contract stipulated that nobody could interfere in the 8-Man Cage match. Obviously Sergio Mayer was not part of the match, and he is considered as an outisde intruder, who costed Team Roldan the match. Due to the violation of this contract stipulation, Roldan says he will not hand Konnan control of the comapny so easily. *Pretaped Segment: Zorro is super pissed off, yelling the names of Roldan and Cibernatico. Charlie talks to Chessman, and begs him to get the Hell Brothers back. Chessman says he has nothing against Charlie, but he hates Cibernetico for defending Mesias. Chessman wants Charlie to join him, but he will only join the Hell Brothers as a trio. Charlie promises to put back the HBs no matter what! 3) Street Fight (why putting that name, if every AAA match is already a street fight) Cibernetico vs. Chessman vs. Zorro -First Fall: Should I call this one too? This looks like a typical TV main event match. Every man for himself in this match, as everyone attacks each other. Both Ciber and Chessman get to the crowd, and climb the second bowl of the arena. Cibernetico tosses Chessman off the second bowl all the way to a table, but the table doesn't break! Zorro goes after Cibernetico, and uses a chair as a weapon. Zorro drags Ciber back to the ring, and uses the kendo stick as his new weapon. Zorro uses a chair to hit Ciber, and start celebrating. Chessman comes out of nowhere, and pins Cibernetico. Zorro goes after Chessman, but he gets hit by a noen lighbulb. Chessman covers, and the three count is made. Winner: Chessman -Aftermath: Chessman smashes another lightbulb on Zorro's leg. Charlie gets inside the ring and begs both Ciber and Chessman to get inside the ring. Charlie asks for crowd support to get the HBs back, but Chessman attacks Cibernetico. Security staff splits both Ciber and Chessman to avoid a brawl. Charlie's plan didn't work. FINAL COMMENTS: Overall, a regular show. Nothing much to say this time. The ladder match sucked, the main event was as dull as any TV main event match, and what else can I say.
