Dolph Zigler versus Kofi Kingston – Kofi wins with the Trouble in Paradise (roundhouse kick)

Teddy Long is in the ring promoting the upcoming Royal Rumble.  Tiffany is in the stands and

asks a kid a trivia question about who won last years Rumble (Cena) – he gets it right and gets

to move to ringside.

Tag team championship – Miz and Morrison over Cryme Tyme when Miz pinned JTG with the reverse neck-breaker.

IC Championship – Regal w/Layla defeated CM Punk with a knee to the head after Layla interfered on the GTS.

Lights go completely out for two minutes so they can escort a covered Boogeyman to hide under the ring.

ECW Championship – Matt Hardy defeated Jack Swagger with the Twist of Fate.  Great old school match with Swagger playing a great heel.

Santino Marella comes to the ring to challenge anyone in the locker room.  Says with Batista out that he is the real An-i-mal-e (spelled like spoken).  Boogeyman comes out from under the ring to surprise Santino, gives him the pump handle slam and covers him in worms.   Not an official match.

10 minute intermission

Women’s Championship – Beth Phoenix defeated Melina with the Glam Slam.  Melina still looks a little rusty in the ring.

Tag team match – Ray Mysterio and HBK over Mike Knox and Kane.  HBK pinned Knox after Sweet Chin Music.   Great match – Mysterio and HBK both know how to work a match well.

Heavyweight championship – John Cena over Randy Orton with the FU.  Easily the match of the night. 

Orton’s improvement in the ring and ability to headline a main even has improved dramatically.
