WWE Raw Houseshow Odessa, TX 3.13.09

Building was soldout. Not sure about the size of the Coliseum, but probably 2,000-2,500. Crowd had a ridiculous amount of children, so much different then the recent Raw and PPVs I've been to.

*Kofi Kingston, Mickie James, & Melina d. Santino Marella, Beth Phoenix, & Rosa Mendes. Fun opener. Finish saw Melina pin Mendes with her reverse ddt/leg drop combo.
*Mike Knox d. Charlie Haas (as Jim Duggan). Horrible match with Knox winning with his finisher.
*Cody Rhodes & Ted Dibiase d. Cryme Tyme. Cryme Tyme was really over and lots of heat for Rhodes & Dibiase. A fan decided to squirt water at Cody and got tossed before the match. Average match with Cody getting the pin with the ddt.
*Finlay d. Mark Henry in a Belfast Brawl. What you pretty much would expect here. Lots of trash can shots. Finish saw Hornswoggle get involved and Finlay use the shillelah for the pin. Kids danced in the ring afterwards.
Intermission- Kelly Kelly was the hostess for the night, doing the typical answer a question and get ringside seats.
*Jack Swagger d. Christian. Teddy Long came out and brought out Swagger to inform him that he would have to defend the title tonitie. GREAT match, definitely match of the night, almost as good as their watch on ECW a couple weeks back. Finish saw Christian get thrown in the post and fail to get the unprettier, allowing Swagger get a schoolboy with the tights for the pin.
*CM Punk d. William Regal w/ Layla. Good match. Lots of matwork by Regal, who dominated the majority of the match. Punk missing a crossbody, but Regal missed the running kick leading to the Go to Sleep.
*Shawn Michaels & Rey Mysterio d. Chris Jericho & Kane. Mysterio got the biggest reaction of the night with the predominately hispanic crowd. But Michaels and suprisingly Kane were close. Lots of heat for Jericho, especially after how he said the Michaels & Mysterio team sucked because they were the worst combination: Mexican and Texan. Really good match. Finish saw Michaels hit sweet chin music on Jericho & Mysterio hit the 619 on Kane.

A suprisingly good show. The first half wasnt very good, but the final three matches were all tremendous and made up for a lackluster start.
