The WWE returns stateside with television tapings with Raw on Monday in Orlando at the Amway Arena with a dark match of John Cena & HHH vs. Randy Orton & Big Show. Smackdown and ECW will be taped on Tuesday from Miami.
Tonight's Smackdown lineup: *Jeff Hardy vs. Kane *John Morrison vs. Dolph Ziggler *Melina & Eve Torres vs. Michelle McCool & Layla *Great Khali vs. C.M. Punk *Cryme Tyme vs. David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd *Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho for the IC title The main event is said to be very close to the level of their match at the last PPV, and that was one of the best WWE matches of the year.
--Bryan and I will be doing an audio update on the site tonight covering the weigh-in and any other late news. We will also have live coverage of UFC on the site starting at about 7:45 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow, and a post-show audio report covering the show and the post-show activities. We will also have the post-show press conference audio up on the site tomorrow night.

--Jerry Lawler has said that he is running for mayor of Memphis, and he realizes that if he wins the election, he won't have the time to continue as a WWE announcer.
--Doctors have yet to give Edge a timetable for a return to the ring after his surgery to repair a torn Achilles tendon. It's going to be at least six months most likely.
--Alex Marvez at http://www.foxsports.com has an interview with Dana White. Some interesting stuff including White saying that when UFC becomes a top mainstream sport, he'll have accomplished his goal and he'll walk away and never look back.
--Dos Caras Jr., who had said that he would get to use his name and bypass developmental, did a job for Kris Logan in developmental, just using the name Dos. So I guess he was half right on the name, and wrong on the bypassing.
--John Cena will be getting married tomorrow in Boston, which explains why he left the Australia tour early, missing several advertised dates. He's marrying the woman he dated back in high school.
--TNA will be doing a fan fest in Irvine, CA on 10/17, the day before Bound for Glory

--Kevin Nash launches a worldwide search for his new valet, so I guess Jenna isn't lasting long. The winner will manage Nash on the 12/20 Final Resolution PPV in Orlando. He said you don't have to be 20, and said your best bet is if you know something about a Quinn Martin Production. Maybe Lee Meriweather can come out of retirement then. --Time Magazine, believe it or not, has a story on Fedor Emelianenko not being signed with UFC and how it's a black eye, comparing it to if Tiger Woods wasn't playing in the PGA.
--The next season of Ultimate Fighter ended filming on Wednesday in Las Vegas.
