By Dan Lowth There's no real order to this show, it seems, so everything is recapped in no real order. Apart from the order I watched them, of course. Matt Classic vs. Matt Sydal w/Lizzy Valentine. Matt Classic is SO awesome. He wears plain trunks, a mask with stars on it, no knee pads, and during the entrance everything is in black-and-white. This is due to him being old school, and not New World Order. Classic does some quite absurd Hindu pushups pre-match, followed by THE HINDU SQUATS~! On Redondo Beach, Larry Sweeney is grinning from ear-to-ear. Classic manhandles Sydal around for a while with ease. Sydal hits an enzuigiri and a spinning heel kick for 2. Classic with the STOMACH CLAW~! This is so great. I imagine if that Colt Cabana fella watches the tapes, he should try that on Super Porky. But, now I think about it, Porky may just no sell it. All you'd be clawing would be fat. Charismatic fat, but fat nonetheless. Sydal counters Classic grabbing his nose to a headscissors, and Sydal hits a slingshot into a corner dropkick for 2. TRAPEZIUS CLAW~!~!~! by Classic! That's it, Sydal's done. Victory roll by Sydal does shockingly not get 3. It's my aim by 2013 to alter the name "victory roll" in wrestling vocab. Classic with the Greco Roman "grab female manager" to get the advantage. Classic does a suplex without taking a bump. Considering the other man I saw do that was Scott Norton when I watched the old nWo PPV a while ago, Matt Classic is in great company. Sydal does an inverted huracanrana, which Classic would not have felt in 1952, and the Shooting Star Press gets Sydal the win. I have no idea who was the babyface or the heel (I was with the CLASSIC~!), but my God this was fun. Classic is one of the best gimmicks I've seen in a while. Just totally different to anything else, especially in WSX when you have guys doing flippydoes and dangerous stuff, he stands out. Good times. Lacey and Fabian recap the Mad Latinos/Mad Convicts feud, with Kaos, Aguilera, Al Katrazz and Luke, including the most recent WSX episode where Kaos got put through a table while Aguilera was chatting up the ladies. Backstage, the Mad Latinos argue. Kaos is pissed about Aguilera's love of the ladies and the booze. Best quote ever is when Kaos says, "I got put through a table, that shit hurts!" Aguilera calms him down by offering him a cerveca. Shockingly, this does not calm him down. Aguilera decides that to prove his worth they should have a TLC match with the Convicts: Tables, Ladders and Cervecas. Backstage, Three 6 Mafia are being Three 6 Mafia, and then the Trailer Park Boys walk past. They demand Johnny give them chips. One of the rappers asks them if "you stay fly", then they begin singing and being gangsta and such, which repels the hillbillies away. That was absurd, but I loved it. Hopefully this leads to some sort of angle where Keepin' It Gangsta constantly confront the TBB, flaunting their grills and their bling and so forth, causing the TBB's to get counted out and lose lots. They show an interview with Johnny Webb, who is appalled they showed Josh and Nate brawling like dumb hillbillies. He hates the stereotype, damnit. He also believes DIFH stands for Don't Inhale Funny Herbs. Well, maybe. He declares the piece on WSX as a SABOTAGE~! The Trailer Park Boys w/Johnny Webb vs. DIFH. I love how Johnny is appalled at how they were portrayed, and his nickname is "white trash". The TBB team are Josh "Jug" Raymond (Josh Abercrombie) and Nate Webb. Jimmy Jacobs and Tyler Black are DIFH, Do It For Her, the emo tag team. Jimmy is the sensitive one, Tyler is the angry one. Josh and Tyler start. Tyler goes all crazy but takes a nice couple of arm drags from Josh. What sort of hick is this dude? Nate comes in with a springboard clothesline. I should point out the hicks are both wearing their great BEER CITY shirts. Arachnakick by Webb for 2. Nebraska tumbleweed by Webb and a corner dropkick by Josh for 2, Jimmy saves. Josh gives Jimmy a tope con HELLO~! ala Homicide, nearly landing in the crowd. Tyler crotches Nate to stop another big dive, but ends up doing the Fosberry Flop himself. Jacobs tells Tyler to calm down. DE CAMEL CLUTCH, with added waves by Jimmy, but Tyler breaks it by dropkicking Josh to the sadness of Jimmy. Jimmy does a Cattle Mutilation and Tyler does a standing Shooting Star Press. This is all just appalling Jimmy. Tyler tags in WITH ATTITUDE~! and hits a clothesline. In a great spot, Tyler comes in to break up a resthold and throws Jimmy into a spear on Josh. I love this gimmick. Tyler should come out in any match to stop slow spots. It would save time editing it down. Jimmy tries a tag, but continues walking, reaching out for a girl, so Tyler blind tags. Nate gets the hot tag and runs wild, hitting a spinning flatliner and turning an Air Raid Crash into Soylent Green (IS PEOPLE!) for the pin. That was a wacky, wacky little tag team match. They got more time, so this was a good little match, really. I enjoyed it. Some of these characters are faaaaantastic. If you haven't started watching this, you must. It's not too long, a couple of matches of acceptable length, full of action, and it's a good, good time. But mainly, it's all about Matt Classic. Watch that guy, even if he's not on the regular TV show. Yay for WSXtra. For the most in-depth and detailed news and analysis on pro-wrestling and MMA, always turn to Figure Four Weekly Online!
