We don't have the ratings for Impact yet because for the first time in its history, it was not one of the top 100 shows in the 18-49 demo on cable last night.
The NBA playoffs were expected to keep the number down, but there was hope the publicity over Rampage Jackson signing would help. The reality is, as far too many people mentioned to me last night, is that the real audience needs advertising and promotion during the show. The percentage of the audience that would have known from web sites and Dixie's twitter can't help enough to make a statistically significant difference. While Jackson did get some mainstream publicity, virtually none of it mentioned he would be on Impact this week.
The NBA finals did 14.2 million viewers.
The debut of "Hero" on TNT starring Dwayne Johnson did 1.53 million viewers.
The NHL Stanley Cup playoff game with the Los Angeles Kings vs. Chicago Black Hawks did 2.02 million viewers.
