TNA hires Gaburick EVP of TV production

TNA announced today the hiring of John "Big" Gaburick, best known by wrestling fans as the Vader-looking producer of the original "Tough Enough" series, as the Executive Vice President of Television Production.

Gaburick had been Kevin Dunn's main ally in WWE, and was replaced as part of HHH & Stephanie McMahon's changing of the guard and bringing in their own people.  It was seen as a clear sign of the lessening of Dunn's power going forward in the organization.

Gaburick will manage and produce Impact, as well as be in charge of marketing and advertising, special projects and digital content.

The hiring of Gaburick was largely expected since TNA released Mike Weber as head of marketing.

Gaburick worked 13 years for WWE.
