El Brazo passes away

Juan Alvarado, who wrestled for the last 32 plus years as El Brazo, passed away Tuesday night from complications of diabetes.

Brazo de Oro & Brazo de Plata & El Brazo are among the most famous trios in wrestling history.  The three brothers, sons of Shadito Cruz, had gone their own ways years ago when Brazo de Plata, as Super Porky, became an enduring superstar.

Of late, Alvarado had done a transvestite Brazo gimmick as La Braza.   He was 52.
