--For what it's worth, Shawn Michaels said on Twiter that he had no idea they were doing a DX reunion on the 7/23 Raw 1000th episode show, saying that all he knows is he was asked to be there.
 
--C.M. Punk, who did the Comic Con in Philadelphia last night, is back on the road with the Raw crew tonight in Birmingham, AL, most likely facing Daniel Bryan in the main event.
 
--A note on the death of Richard Dawson of Family Feud and Hogan's Heroes fame who passed away at 79 last night from cancer of the esophagus. In the early 70s, Dawson regularly attended pro wrestling shows in Los Angeles at the Olympic Auditorium. His son Dennis was a childhood friend of Mike Lano and they went to all the shows.
 
--Tonight on Fuel: UFC Tonight at 7:30 p.m. Ultimate Insider at 8 p.m. and a replay of the Ultimate Fighter final at 9 p.m. Speaking of that, did anyone watch the Fuel debut of Ultimate Fighter Brazil last night?
 
--Advertised for a joint brand super show on 6/15 in Augusta, ME (two nights before No Way Out) is John Cena vs. Big Show in a cage match (to get them ready for the PPV match) and Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio for the world title.
 
--Northeast Wrestling from last night in Newburgh, NY:  Kevin Nash b Robbie E, Matt Taven b Hale Collins, Bill Carr b Jay Freddie, Brian Anthony over Caleb Konley, Cedric Alexander, Adam Page and Bull Dredd, Bobby Lashley b Tommaso Ciampa, Jerry Lawler b Luke Robinson (the main event had one Bella in each guys corner but the Nikki, with Luke, got mad at Luke trying to kiss Brie, so she turned on Luke and both left with Lawler).
 
--We're looking for how the NEW show here drew as well as how the PWS shows in Rahway, NJ over the weekend drew.
 
--J.J. Dillon talks to Jonathan Snowden on being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
 
--Cris Cyborg won the purple belt women's division in the BJJ world championships yesterday in Brazil and immediately issued a challenge to Ronda Rousey.
 
--Matt Striker is on the road this weekend as the Smackdown ring announcer. Teddy Long was on the road for Smackdown as the assistant to John Laurinaitis.  His role was that in the Christian vs. Cody Rhodes match, after Christian won, Long came out and said that Laurinaitis forgot to mention it was a 2/3 fall match and Jinder Mahal was referee.  Mahal screwed Christian in the second fall, but Christian came back to win the third fall. 

--Ricky Martin, a U.K. independent wrestler, won the BBC's version of "The Apprentice."  (thanks to Stephen Lyon)

--In picks for Friday night, Todd Martin had the best night at 3-1, picking one of the two upsets (Chiesa).  Mike Sempervive, Oliver Copp, Bryan Alvarez and myself all went 2-2, with my pick switching to Jake Ellenberger at the last minute proving to be wrong. Josh Nason and Mike Sawyer went 1-3.

--Two Hall of Famers passed away on this date: William Muldoon, the first genuine pro wrestling star in the United States, who headlined Madison Square Garden in the 1880s (really) passed away on this date in 1933.  Dory Funk Sr., was 54 when he passed away 39 years ago today of a heart attack after shooting with Les Thornton at his ranch at a big barbecue event.   He was a major mover-and-shaker in the business and it would be interesting what role he would have played over the next 10-15 years.

--A ton of former UFC fighters will be appearing on 6/16 in Springfield, MO at the O'Reilly Family Events Center at Drury University with the show airing as a taped PPV on 7/1 on On Demand.  John Gunderson vs. Karo Parisyan and Kendall Grove vs. Terry Martin are the main events to create welterweight and middleweight championships.  Among the others signed are Drew Fickett, Smilin Sam Alvey, Charles "Krazy Horse" Bennett, Roli Delgado (a trainee of Billy Robinson), Aaron Rosa, Marcus Aurelio, Lyle Beerbohm and many others.      
 
--Former UFC heavyweight champion Maurice Smith, at the age of 50, faces Ryan Lopez on 6/30 in Kearny, NE on a show headlined by Joe Stevenson vs. Dakota Cochrane.
 
--There was a big story on former WWE developmental wrestler B.J. Payne from the OVW days, who is now a football coach in Hilton Head Island High School in South Carolina.
