First round: Mein out punching. Left hook by Mein and low kick and another left. Action then slowed. Stinson bleeding from under the right eye. Mein continues to land the left. Stinson landed a right. Now a left landed by Stinson. Mein landed several hard lefts. Stinson back with a right. Big right by Stinson. Big left back by Mein. The right side of Stinson’s face is all bloody. Left by Stinson. Harder left by Mein. Both landed late in the round. Good round, crowd liked it. 10-9 Mein
Second round: Body shot and head shot by Mein. Stinson back. Right to the body and left to the head by Mein. Left and right by Mein. Stinson back. Big left b Mein. Both trading. Low kick by Mein. JUSTIN WILCOX VS. JORGE MASVIDAL, LIGHTWEIGHTS
First round: Wilcox threw a high kick. Wilcox went to the left eye like he was poked. Wilcox moved in. Wilcox moving forward. Wilcox with a nice left. Wilcox got the takedown. Masvidal trying to get up. Masvidal back up. Wilcox jumped in like he was going to do a flying knee. Another knee by Masvidal. Big knee but Masvidal hurt him a and Wilcox ran off. Wilcox hurt and running away like he’s a sprinter. Masdival has him hurt. Masivald now landing a lot. Wilcox went for a takedown but Masival sprawled and landed a knee. Another big knee by Masivdal. Left by Masvidal. Another left by Masvidal. Masvidal 10-9.
Second round: Hard right by Wilcox. Wilcox trying for a takedown but he’s too slow. Masvidal went for a knee but landed a punch. Left by Masvidal. Wilcox with a body kick. Body shot by Wilcox. Third round: Wilcox keeps moving forward. Masvidal slipped. Wilcox keeps moving in. Wilcox starting to tire. Masvdal with a low kick. Wilcox missing a lot of punches. He shot in and Masvidal easily evaded him. Good head kick by Masvidal. Wilcox keeps moving in. Most of his punches are missing but some land. Masvidal starting to land now. Wilcox got a takedown but Masvidal right back up. Another takedown by Wilcox. Masvidal punching and got to his feet. Now Masvidal landing. Wilcox still throwing more. Masvidal starting to land. Wilcox’s kick blocked. Wilcox went for a single leg but Masvidal blocked. Masvidal landing some counters now. Wilcox moved in with a lot of punches. Knee and punch by Masvidal. Wilcox tried and takedown and didn’t get it. Wilcox shot in again and didn’t get the takedown. Wilcox was so much more aggressive. I’ve got him winning the round so have it 29-28 Wilcox.
But the second and third could go either way and this is anyone’s fight.

RYAN COUTURE VS. JOE DUARTE, LIGHTWEIGHTS
First round: Duarte landed a punch but now Couture with punches and going for a takedown. Durate working on a D’Arce choke but had to let it go. Couture working for a takedown but can’t get it. Duarte with a right. Left by Duarte. Right by Duarte. Duarte landed punches. Running knee and punch by Duarte. Body kick by Couture. Duarte with a takedown late in the round. Couture very aggressive from the bottom but Duarte got back up. Duarte’s round 10-9.
Second round: Couture got the takedown. Duarte back up. Low kick by Duarte. Couture landing a few punches. Couture landing but not with power. Durate got the takedown. He let Couture up. Couture tried a takedown but couldn’t get it. Couture tried a takedown but didn’t get it at first. Couture persisted, got him down and got his back. Couture is working for a choke. Duarte is in trouble but only 20 seconds left. Couture pounding from the mount as time ran out. 10-9 Couture.
Third round: Knee by Couture. Couture moving forward. Duarte with a body kick. Couture with a bodylock. Duarte with a takedown. Duarte went for a Peruvian necktie but Couture out. Couture back up and threw Duarte down but Duarte right back up. Couture pushing him against the fence and threw some knees. Duarte tried a takedown and didn’t get it. Now Couture trying for a takedown. Couture got the takedown. Duarte threatened and Duarte got back to his feet. This is coming down to the last minute. Knees by Couture. Couture got the takedown. Couture
with knees. Very close round because of that Peruvian necktie, but I’ll go Couture and expect him to win 29-28.
Scores: A split decision 29-28 Duarte 29-28 Couture 29-28 Couture. Crowd was for Couture because he deserved it and also Couture grew up in Oregon at one point.
PAT HEALY VS. MIZUTO HIROTA, LIGHTWEIGHTS
First round: Hirota has been a lightweight champion in Dream and Sengoku, most famous as the guy whose arm Shinya Aoki broke a few years back on New Year’s Eve. Healy is physically a lot bigger. Hirota got the takedown. The ref ordered a standup. Hirota got underhooks as they were against the fence. Hirota let him off. Hirota landed a left hook, Healy tried a takedown but Hirota blocked it. Healy threw an elbow. Hirota 10-9
Second round: In a clinch and both with close range striking. Hirota with a knee and a punch. Healy with an elbow. Hirota landed two lefts. Hirota has him against the fence. Hirota with another takedown with Healy back to his feet. Healy’s bleeding. Healy with an elbow. Hirota pins him against the fence with underhooks again. Now Healy with short body shots and an elbow. Hirota with elbow. Healy with a slow takedown attempt and Hirttoa blocked him but Healy persisted and got Hirota on his back. Healy with body punches now. The ref is warning Healy about stalling. Hirota back to his feet. Healy with an elbow. Healy bleeding bad and Hirota landing punches. Both landing elbows. Healy got the takedown. Healy landing elbows
from close range. Healy’s round so 19-19.
Third round: Trading punches and nice straight right by Hirota and an uppercut. They were in a clinch and the ref separated them. Hirota landing good shots and Healy landing as well. Healy going for a takedown. Healy got the takedown. Hirota back up. Healy with a knee. They are in a clinch and Healy ducking for another takedown. Healy with punches, and bloodied Hirota’s nose. Hirota punching from the bottom. Hirota back up. Hirota landing four punches. Healy took him down again. Healy not huritng him from the top but Healy controlled him on the ground late. Healy’s round 29-28. Another close fight.
Scores: Unanimous decision 30-27, 29-28, 29-28 Healy. The 30-27 score I don’t know about but this could have gone either way. I don’t see this as impressive enough to get a title shot off.
ROBBIE LAWLER VS. LORENZ LARKIN, MIDDLEWEIGHTS
First round: Larkin cut from 233 at the start of camp to 185. Lawler landed the right. Lawler hurt him and is going for the finish. Larkin grabbed a clinch and threw a knee. Elbow by Larkin. They are tied up against the fence. Larkin threw Lawler down and he’s throwing elbows from the top. Knee by Larkin. Larkin landing punches and a flying knee. Lawler with a high kick and now he’s trying to knock Larkin out. Larkin with an uppercut and elbow. Larkin with short shoulder strikes. Lots of uppercuts and a knee by Larkin. Another uppercut by Larkin. Knee by Lawler. Knee by Larkin that hurt Lawler. Larkin 10-9
Second round: Low kick by Larkin. Fans booing. Larkin going to town on him with elbows and knees. Lawler pinned him against the fence. Lawler trying to throw home run shots. Larkin with a guillotine but Lawler escaped. Low kick by Larkin and an uppercut. Left by Larkin. John McCarthy separated them. High kick by Larkin. Lawler was cut deep. Right by Larkin. Larkin’s round so he’s up 20-18.
Third round: Lawler with a body kick. Body kick and left by Lawler. Lawler going for a takedown, which may be mistake. Winning this round won’t help him. Lawler got single leg and started to connect with punches. Larking tying him up and throwing a knee. Larkin landed a left and missed a spinning backfist. High kick by Lawler blocked. Left by Larkin. Body kick by Larkin. Lawler landed a hard left. Larkin with a couple of punches back. Larkin staring to land and the blood may be affecting Lawler’s vision. Jab by Larking and another. Lawler bleeding worse now. Big left by Lawler. Right by Larkin. Larkin landing a lot of punches, an elbow, and two more elbows. Lawler with two knees as time ran out. Larkin’s round 30-27.
Scores: All three have it 30-27 Larkin
After the fight, Larkin got on his knees and begged Dana White to give performance bonuses, saying we're all in the same family. He said he's not even looking for himself tonight, but said all the guys in Strikeforce fight their hearts out.
Julie Kedzie and Sarah Kaufman interview. Kaufman said Rousey has never fought anyone like her, she's going to win and get back her title with her striking.
ROGER GRACIE VS. KEITH JARDINE, MIDDLEWEIGHTS
First round: Gracie got the clinch and took Jardine down. Not good for Jardine. Jardine has never submitted. Jardine doing a good job on his back to keep Gracie in a guard. Jardine got back up. Gracie has him back down and throwing rights to the head. Full mount by Gracie. Gracie looking for an armbar. Gracie throwing elbows. Jardine bleeding badly from the left eye. Gracie 10-9.
Second round: Gracie with a front kick. Jardine moved in and Gracie took himdown. Gracie landed another elbow on Jardine’s head. He’s got his back. Body triangle by Gracie. Jardine bleeding all over the place. Jardine’s defense is really good here. Gracie continually trying for a choke and not getting under the neck. Gracie with an arm triangle. But Jardine got out of trouble. Gracie was in the mount throwing elbows as the round ended. 10-8 Gracie so 20-17.
Third round: Jardine landed body shot. Nothing happening this round. Jardine hurt him with a right. Gracie in a clinch threw a knee but couldn’t take Jardine down. Gracie is tired and Jardine is throwing punches. Front kicks by Gracie. Jardine threw a punch. Knee by Gracie and Gracie moved in with a punch. Jardine trying to chase him down late. I think Jardine took this round but Gracie 29-27 overall.
Scores 29-27, 30-27 and 30-26, so two judges gave Gracie a 10-8 second round.
Six straight decisions. It’s getting old.

NATE MARQUARDT VS. TYRON WOODLEY FOR THE VACANT MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE
First round: Woodley with a body kick. Marquardt kicked him in the groin but Woodley wanted to continue. Woodley hurt him with a right hook and took him down. Woodley has his back. Woodley throwing knees to the body. Trading knees in a clinch. Marquardt dropped him with a straight right. Now Woodley going for a takedown and Marquardt working for a guillotine but Woodley escaped. Both throwing punches. Knee by Marquardt. Knee by Marquardt. Big right by Marquardt. Knee by Marquardt. Knee to the body by Marquardt and a hard elbow. Knee by
Woodley. Marquadt has a lot of confidence right now. Marquardt moved in but Woodley tied him up. Knee by Marquardt. Marquadt in with punches. 10-9 Marquardt.
Second round: Spinning backfits by Woodley and a right to the head. Marquardt with low kicks. Hard right by Marquardt. Woodley working for a takedown. Woodley landed a right before Marquardt moved out of the clinch. Left by Marquardt. Low kick again by Marquardt and Woodley with a body kick. Spin kick to the body by Marquardt. Big right by Marquardt and Marquardt took him down which looks to clinch the round for him. Woodley up and landed a punch. Woodley landed a good right . Marquardt’s round now up 20-18.
Third round: Woodley moving in landing punches. He decked Marquadt and Woodley pounding him. Woodley doing a lot of damage. Elbow by Woodley. Marquardt trying to get on his feet. Marquardt working for an armbar but Woodley out. Ref ordered a standup. What a bad call that was. There was action on the ground from both sides. Woodley seems tired now. He seems to want to stall the round since he’s winning the round. Marquardt moved in and landed punches and elbows. Marquardt landed two more punches. Woodley seems really tired now. Hard elbow by Marquardt. Hard right by Marquardt. Closer round but Woodley got it. 29-28

Fourth round: Hard right by Marquardt. Woodley moved in but Marquardt landed three punches and a front kick and a low kick. High kick blocked but a big right landed hard by Woodley. Marquardt landed again. Woodley is tired and in trouble. Elbow from the clinch by Marquardt. Marquardt landed a series of punches and knocked Woodley out. The finishing sequence was a left elbow and two right elbows to the side of the face, a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut. I think Woodley was done after the third elbow. Woodley is crying as he’s never lost before. Really good fight, easily the best of the night. 1:39
LUKE R0CKHOLD VS. TIM KENNEDY FOR THE MIDDLEWEIGHT TITLE
First round: Rockhold went for a high kick, but blocked. Both landing rights. Pat Miletich called them forearm smashes and Mauro Ranallo asked about bionic elbows. They are up against the fence. Rockhold landed a knee and backed out. Kennedy moved in with a punch. Rockhold missed punches and put Kennedy’s back against the cage. Knee by Rockhold. Rockhold with a lot of body shots. Rockhold moved to the center. Rockhold landing a lot of shots and pinned him against the fence. Kennedy with a high takedown. Rockhold said Kennedy couldn’t take him down. Rockhold bleeding from the right eye. Kennedy doing a good job keeping Rockhold down. Rockhold looking for a Kimura. Rockhold had it but Kennedy powered and moved to
back position. Rockhold back to his feet. Rockhold therw some punches late. This is likely to come down to down to conditoining down the line. Rockhold 10-9 but it could go the other way with Kennedy on top but he didn’t do much damage form the top.
Second round: Great high kick by Rockhold and he got Kennedy back. He’s working for a choke. Kennedy trying to flip him over and Rockhold blocking the throw. Rockhold gave up the choke. Kennedy back to his feet. Kennedy missed a wild left. Rockhold landed a right. Rockhold with a left and a right. Big right by Rockhold. Body kick by Rockhold. Big right by Kennedy. Hard right by Rockhold. Kennedy working for a takedown. Rockhold went for an armbar but Kennedy out. This is a very good match. Kennedy landed a left. Trading punches and Kennedy landed hard. Head kick by Rockhold. Left and right by Rockhold. Body kick by Rockhold. Rockhold doing most of the offense. Rockhold’s round so he’s up 20-18.
Third round: Ref John McCarthy warned Rockhold for grabbing the fence and warned Kennedy for a knee to the groin. Hard right by Rockhold. Kennedy with a series of low kicks. Low kick by Kennedy. Kennedy got behind him and took him down and has his back. Rockhold moved out of trouble. Kennedy got his back again and Rockhold back to his feet. Kennedy tried a takedown, it was blocked and and Rockhold landed a right. Rockhold tried a takedown but didn’t get it. Rockhold’s round 30-27.
Fourth round: Kennedy landed some punches. Rockhold with two body kicks and Kennedy with a low kick. Body kick by Kennedy. Low kick by Kennedy. Kennedy shot for a takedown. Side kick by Kennedy. Rockhold landed a few punches. Both really tired now. Hard body kick by Rockhold. Low kick by Kennedy. Kennedy landed a right. Body shot by Rockhold. Rockhold dropped him with a right and looks like he bloodied his nose. Rockhold on top. Kennedy working for a guillotine. Rockhold escaped and back to their feet. Kennedy now really tired. Rockhold tried for a takedown but Kennedy reversed and got his back but time is running out.

Fifth round: Rockhold moving forward and landing punches. High kick partially blocked and a punch by Rockhold. Kennedy tried a takedown but Rockhold blocking the takedown. Left landed by Rockhold. Kennedy back with a low kick. Scrambling and Rockhold got the takedown. Rockhold with a knee tothe body. Kennedy back to his feet. Kennedy pushed him into the fence. Now Rockhold moved to the center. Rockhold pushed Kennedy into the fence. Knee by Rockhold. Both landing elbows. Body kick by Rockhold. Crowd cheered both guys. Not a lot of fireworks but man they both worked hard for 25 minutes. Rockhold 50-45.
