MATT RICEHOUSE VS. BOBBY GREEN, LIGHTWEIGHTS

First round: Bobby "King Mo Jr." Green out with a crown and a flag. He handing out Burger King crowns to people in the crowd before the match. Same shaved head, similar beard as Mo. Trading low kicks. Ricehouse landed a few. Green with a right and a knee. Green landed a jab and Ricehouse with a jab. Knee by Green. Ricehouse with an uppercut. Ricehouse landed a right. Green dropped him and Green with several hard right upppercuts. Ricehouse is in trouble. Green with punches and knee. More knees by Green. Body kick by Green. Green with a takedown into side control. Green landed a knee as time ran out. 10-9 Green.

Second round: Ricehouse coming out more aggressive knowing he lost the round. Green back with knee. Ricehouse landed a good left. Ricehouse with a kick by Green and Green caught the foot. Green with knees to the body. Ricehouse landed two punches. Green with two knees to the body. Left by Green. Ricehouse with a knee. Body kick and punch by Green. Green with a left. Two more lefts. Trading punches. Left and a knee by Ricehouse. Ricehouse tried a takedown but Green with a knee broke that idea up. Green with a takedown and has his back. Ricehouse escaped and to his feet. Green’s round 20-18.

Third round: Both trading early in the round. Another trade by both. Body kick and body punches by Green. Green with a takedown. Knee to the body by Green. Body punch by Green. Green with a kick. Ricehouse back landed several punches. Ricehouse in with punches. Uppercut by Green. Ricehouse tied him up but Green landed another knee. Left and right by Ricehouse. Knee to the body by Green. Green with a clinch and aknee. Green trying to land a front kick. This was closer than the first two rounds but still should go to Green, so 30-27.

Scores: Straight 30-27 scores for Green.

They showed the awesome Rousey video that they actually first showed before the Miesha Tate fight where they talked about her goal to be the best in the world at something for her dad.  That's a star making video but I don't think many are watching these prelims.

HIROKO YAMANAKA VS. GERMAINE DE RANDAMIE, WOMEN FEATHERWEIGHTS

First round: De Randamie was 46-0 in Muay Thai with 30 knockouts, but is a novice is MMA. She spent two weeks straight working with Daniel Cormier on takedown defense. Yamanaka was ranked No. 2 in the world until Cris Cyborg knocked her out with 16 seconds left. Mike Beltran, the ref, has this unreal mustache and Mauro Ranallo called him Ox Baker. De Randamie missed a wild right. De Randamie landed the right. Big right by De Randamie. Yamanaka not trying any wrestling. De Randamie landed several punches. Yamanaka got the clinch. Yamanaka got the takedown. Not much in thhis round. The ref ordered break with 21 sconds left. De Randamie’s round 10-9.

Second round: De Randamie with a left that landed solid. Yamanaka has her against the fence going for a takedown but not having any luck. Yamanaka working for a takedown but can’t get it. The ref ordering them to do something. De Randamie landing punches as Yamanaka was working for a takedown. The ref ordered another separation. De Randamie landed solid punches. De Randamie missed with the right. Yamanaka landed a left. De Randamie landed a good right. De Randamie’s round late should be up 20-18.

Third round: De Randamie landed early. Yamanaka has swelling under the right eye. Another right landed by De Randamie. De Randamie’s face is also marked. De Randamie landed several hard punches until they are in the clinch. De Randamie stomped on Yamanaka’s foot. Yamanaka trying a takedown. Yamanaka landed a hard knee to the groin. After a time out they were back in action. Both trading punches now. De Randamie tried a hiptoss but Yamanaka blocked it. Big right by De Randamie. In trade, De Randamie landed a crisp right. Left hook and body kick by De Randamie. De Randamie landed a right kick to the head. Front kick to the face by De Randamie. Crowd cheered both a lot when the round ended. Third round was good, first two rounds were so-so. De Randamie was the better standup fighter and the whole fight was standing so she should win 30-27.

Scores: Straight 30-27 scores for De Randamie

ADLAN AMAGOV VS. KEITH BERRY, MIDDLEWEIGHTS

First round: Spin kick by Amagov. Front knee by Amagov to the knee which is an illegal move striking to the joint, several punches on the ground and ref Herb Dean stopped it. Berry is very upset by this. Berry complained that kick landed on the left knee to tell ref Herb Dean about the illegal kick.  Berry was saying I’m good, but Herb Dean thought he said I’m out and stopped it. Amagov was ruled the winner in :48. Just a mess.

JULIE KEDZIE VS. MIESHA TATE, WOMEN'S BANTAMWEIGHTS

First round: Both out swinging. Hard body kick by Kedize . Tate is hurt from the punches. Both trading and a solid shot by Kedzie. Body kick by Kedzie. Kedzie with a solid right by Tate. Tate moved her into the fence. Knee in the clinch by Kedzie. Kedzie with a punch and body kick. Tate shot for the takedown but it didn’t work and Kedzie ended up on top. Right by Kedzie. Kedzie continues to land. Tate went for another takedown,. Kedzie sprawled. Kedzie is eating her up. Kedzie backed away and stood up and landed another right. Big right by Tate and she went for the takedown but Kedzie defended and landed a knee to the body. Kedzie with body punches. Body kick knocked Tate down and Tate working for a triangle from the bottom. Tate used the triangle to sweep to the top. A hell of a round 10-9 Kedzie, close to a 10-8.

Second round: Tate landed a right. Kedzie with a body kick. Tate trying to find a way to get a takedown. Knee by the body by Tate. Hard knees by Kedzie. Tate with a body throw and now Kedzie going for a triangle from the bottom and throwing elbows from the bottom. Tate escaped. Tate has Kedzie’s back. Tate now puching from back position. Tate working for a choke as soon as Kedzie left her neck open. Kedzie is in a lot of trouble. Kedzie moved to her stomach to escape but Tate on top. Tate went for a guillotine. Kedzie escaped and got to her feet with 1:10 left. Knee by Kedzie and short elbow. Both of these women are tired. Tate working for the takedown but Kedzie defending well. Tate got the takedown. Tate’s round so we’re 19-19 going into the third. Really good fight so far.

Third round: Kedzie landed a kick to the leg that put Tate down. Both are tired punching. Tate went for a takedown but Kedzie sprawled. Side kick to the body by Kedzie. Low kick by Kedzie. High kick by Kedzie, a beautiful kick right to the face that knocked Tate down. Kedzie landed shin to the face and throwing an elbow from the top. Tate survived and trying to set up an armbar. Tate still working for the armbar. Tate is awesome hanging on to this armbar with Kedzie defending. Kedzie continued to defend by stacking Tate’s body. Tate has the armbar now. Tate continues to try and manipulate the arm and trying to get it locked in. 1:50 left. Tate kept the armbar on and finally Kedzie tapped out. This was a freaking incredible match. 3:28

OVINCE ST. PREUX VS. T.J. COOK, LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHTS 

First round: Left high kick by St. Preux. . Cook landed a left to the body. Body shot by Cook. Hard low kick by Cook. High kick by St. Preux and hard low kick by Cook. Cook moved in with a left to the body. Now they’re in a clinch. Knee by St. Preux. Left to the body by Cook but St. Preux knocked him down and pounding him on the ground. Cook back up somehow. St. Preux landed a knee. Cook back with punches to the body. Cook with hard rights . Both trading big shots. This last minute was awesome. Now both are exhausted. Body shot by Cook. St. Preux with a left kick to the body. Cook slipped. St. Preux now going for a takedown. Takedown by St. Preux. . St. Preux going for a straight armbar but Cook escaped. Short elbow by St. Preux. St. Prexu has his back with 17 seconds left. Cook escaped and threw two punches that missed. Big left by St. Preux. 10-9 St. Preux

Second round: Body kick by St. Preux. Sick left high kick by St. Preux. Cook with a nice uppercut. Both guys are tired so a lot slower than round one. St. Preux kicked him in the groin so it’s stopped for a time out. St. Preux missed a high kick but it was over Cook’s head and Cook landed a counter hard left. St. Preux shot in for the takedown. St. Preux moved to side control. St. Preux working for a side choke. St. Preux on top with a full mount. St. Preux with hard lefts. Cook gave up his back. Cook turned and survived the round. 20-18 St. Preux.

Third round: Preux knocked him out cold with a left. I mean out cold. It was a left hook to the jaw.

ANTHONY SMITH VS. LUMUMBA SAYRES, MIDDLEWEIGHTS

First round: Sayres ducked a punch and took Smith down and Smith reversed into full mount. Smith punching from the top. Sayres escaped and Smith went for a guillotine and Sayres with great scrambling and got Smith’s back. Smith tried a takedown with a lateral drop. Hard left by Smith. Sayres bleeding. Low kick by Smith knocked Sayres down. Smith went for a punch and missed, slipped and his momentum put him on his back. Sayres punching from the top and Smith got the triangle from the bottom for the submission. Entertaining fight.

ROGER BOWLING VS. TAREC SAFFIEDINE, WELTERWEIGHTS

First round: Bowling with low kicks and body shots early. Now Saffiedine back with low kicks. Nice left to the body by Bowling. Bowling landing more punches. Good knee by Saffiedine from the Thai plumb. Right and left by Bowling. Bowling landing more to the body. Knee by Saffiedine. Bowling looking for a takedown but couldn’t get it. High kick by Bowling blocked. Saffeidine with a knee and another from the clinch. Bowling working for a takedown attempt but Saffiedine defending well. Knee by Saffeidine and elbow. Punches by Bowling. Bowling working for a takedown and again can’t get it again. Bowling with a left and Saffiedine abck with a low kick. 10-9 Saffiedine but close.

Second round: Saffiedine with a low kick. Bowling hurt with with a body shot. Bowling got poked in the eye. Body kick by Bowling. Low kick by Saffiedine. Low kick back by Bowling. Both trading punches. Two hard punches by Bowling. Low kick by Saffiedine. Bowling fired more punches. Saffiedine landed two shots and a kick. Left to the body by Bowling and Saffiedine with a knee to the body and backed Bowling against the fence. Bowling got the takedown and went for a guillotine. Saffiedine out right away and back to his feet. Bowling tried another trip takedown and couldn’t get it. Body kick by Saffiedine. Bowling with a right. Saffiedine with an uppercut. Body kick by Saffiedine. Big right by Saffiedine. Good action round. Close round. Saffiedine’s round 20-18, again close.

Third round: Both going back an forth. They are in a clinch against the fence. Bowling with a body shot but Saffeidine back with a knee to the body. Body shot by Bowling. Body kick by Bowling. Spinning kick, Bowling working for a takedown but Saffiedine blocked it again. Saffiedine has him against the fence. Knee by Saffiedine. More knees close and a shoudler strike. Three or four body shots by Saffiedine. Body kick by Bowling. Bowling now landing hard shots. Bowling went for a takedown. Saffiedine sprawled and spun and got Bowling’s back. Safffiedine in working for choke with 39 seconds left. Saffiedine throwing punches. Saffeidine working for a choke as time ran out. But Saffiedine won the round for sure in the last minute. Good fight. 30-27 Saffiedine

Scores. All three judges had it 30-27 for Saffiedine.

Saffiedine challenged Nate Marquardt for the title after the fight.

RONALDO JACARE SOUZA VS. DEREK BRUNSON, MIDDLEWEIGHTS

First round: The winner of this fight is expected to face Luke Rockhold for the middleweight title next. Souza dropped him twice and finished him. It was a counter right by Souza, a second knockdown and two punches on the ground and it was ver. Souza couldn’t have looked more impressive.  41 second finish.

RONDA ROUSEY VS. SARAH KAUFMAN FOR WOMEN'S BANTAMWEIGHT TITLE

First round: Rousey went for the clinch took her down and has the armbar. Kaufman tried to defend but got it and Kaufman had to tap in 54 seconds. Superstar there.

Awesome promo.  She challenged Cyborg to have the first fair fight of her life and said she's the champion so Cyborg needs to come to her to 135 pounds.  She said if she wants a fight in the parking lot she'll go out there as well.  She said her mom awoke from sleep to train armbars, she said she's now grateful.

Kaufman said Ronda put on a great perofrmance, I'm embarrassed by my performance, I defended, but she continued with it, I really wanted to land some quality strikes but it didn't happen.

Gene LeBell was again back there showing his stopwatch.
