TNA title belt stolen, but not lost
Thursday, 30 August 2012 23:40
The TNA heavyweight title belt was stolen at the 8/18 house show in Ottunwa, IA. According to TMZ.com, it happened when a TNA official was unloading the truck. He turned away, and two men came and stole the championship belt valued at $6,000 and a replica championship belt valued at $400.
Police later used surveillance footage at the arena to identify the alleged thieves as Joel Luke, 33, and Forrest Jamison, 39. Both were arrested yesterday with Luke charged with second degree thievery and Jamison with being an accessory to thievery. They were released on bond.
Both belts were confiscated and returned to TNA.
