ROH undergoes booking change

ROH has replaced Jim Cornette as booker with Hunter Johnson.

The news was reported earlier today at and was confirmed to us by those close to the situation.  The ROH locker room was told about the change prior to Saturday night's show in Rahway, NJ.  Cornette will remain with the company and work with Johnson, but Johnson, who had been Cornette's assistant, will be given control of the future direction.

Cornette will be taken off television as the authority figure as well, with the storyline that Jay Lethal went berserk after what happened in Rahway, NJ and injured him.

The new direction seems to involve Lethal being groomed as the top star to oppose Kevin Steen.
