They already announced that David Otunga is replacing the injured Cody Rhodes in the Team Foley vs. Team Ziggler elimination match.

SANTINO MARELLA & ZACK RYDER VS. JINDER MAHAL & HEATH SLATER

Solid short pre-show match ending when Ryder used the Rough Ryder on Slater, but he wasn't the legal man.  Drew McIntyre, who returned, doing the old cast on the arm gimmick, and he hit Ryder with the cast.  Mahal then used a full nelson slam and pinned Ryder.

SURVIVOR SERIES ELIMINATION MATCH:  BRODUS CLAY & TYSON KIDD & JUSTIN GABRIEL & REY MYSTERIO & SIN CARA VS. TENSAI & TITUS O'NEIL & DARREN YOUNG & PRIMO & EPICO

  • Tensai pinned Clay with a senton.  The only bad part of the match was the attempt for Tensai and Clay to work together.  Clay ran into the corner long after Tensai had moved to where it looked silly.  Clay suplexed Tensai and nearly killed him.
  • Gabriel pinned Tensai with a backslide
  • Kidd pinned O'Neil with a Japanese rolling crotch hold
  • Kidd beat Epico with the sharpshooter
  • Mysterio beat Primo with La Magistral cradle
  • After a 619 by Rey, swanton by Sin Cara, springboard elbow by Kidd, top rope quebrada by Gabriel and finally a splash off the top by Rey all on Young to win the match with everyone but Clay left at the end for the face team.
Good match except for the brief moment early.  However a lot of the match lacked heat since it wasn't a built up match.

Aksana (with two blond wigs on) tried to attack Kaitlyn who pulled off both wigs. Eve Torres showed up and pretended not to know what happened and Kaitlyn pushed down Eve.

EVE TORRES VS. KAITLYN FOR DIVAS TITLE

Eve retained the title.  Eve held onto the ring apron to pull herself out of the ring.  Then Kaitlyn went after her and Eve pulled the apron covering again causing Kaitlyn to fall out of the ring.  Eve threw her in and hit the neckbreaker for the pin.  Match you'd expect.

Backstage Team Foley saw Kofi and Miz and Bryan and Kane arguing and fighting with Orton in the corner paying no attention and Foley being the peacemaker.  Foley talked about how he picked this time and Miz told him it was the WWE Universe who picked him.  Unless we pull together as a team we will all perish as one.  Wanted everyone to put their hand together.  Everyone but Orton put their hand in. Orton then told Foley that he hated him.

ANTONIO CESARO VS. R-TRUTH FOR U.S. TITLE

Cesaro won clean with the Neutralizer.  Crowd not much into this one.  Nothing wrong with the match but not at the level of the matches with Tyson Kidd.

A.J. out.  Called Vickie an old insecure, vindictive vengeful witch or a word that rhymes with witch. She said she was going to expose Vickie's secret. Vickie came out and it was a photo of her eating a burrito with Ricardo Rodriguez, then with BBQ sauce next to Jim Ross, then with Brodus Clay in a Tarzan bodysuit.  A.J. said this is as ridiculous as this scandal you've been presenting every week on Raw.  Vickie threatened to slap her, but A.J. said if you put a hand on me, the board of directors said you'll lose your job. Tamina Snuka gave A.J. the Samoan drop and Superfly splash. Vickie was laughing at A.J. all laid out.

Paul Heyman promo.  He noted Punk is the 8th longest champion of all-time.  Said Punk is the first and only guy to beat Ryback.  Said Punk is hands down the best of the three competitors.

BIG SHOW VS. SHEAMUS FOR WORLD TITLE

Nothing close to last month's match. This was slower paced but the crowd was strong when Sheamus would do power moves like the Electric Chair and White Noise. Sheamus went for the Brogue Kick but Show put ref Scott Armstrong in the way and Sheamus nailed Armstrong.  The doctor, refs and Sheamus were hovering over Armstrong.  Show then knocked out Sheamus with a punch and one of the refs out at ringside counted the pin. Ref John Cone reversed the decision and ruled Sheamus the winner via DQ.

After the match, Sheamus went crazy, hitting Show with something like 15 chair shots.  Show was begging off and Sheamus hit him in the back, chest and both knees.  Sheamus finally laid him out with the Brogue kick.  Even though Show was completely laid out, no sign at all of Dolph Ziggler even though there were chants for him.

TEAM FOLEY (RANDY ORTON & KOFI KINGSTON & THE MIZ & DANIEL BRYAN & KANE) VS. TEAM ZIGGLER (DOLPH ZIGGLER & ALBERTO DEL RIO & DAMIEN SANDOW & DAVID OTUNGA & WADE BARRETT)

They did a surprise finish as Ziggler and Orton were the last two and Ziggler pinned him after a superkick which could lead to an Orton turn.  Orton was setting up the punt, ran in and Ziggler nailed him. Match was so-so early but turned into a good match and the best so far tonight.

In order:

  • Kane pinned Sandow with a choke slam
  • Ziggler pinned Kane with a Zig Zag when Kane was distracted arguing with Bryan
  • Bryan beat Otunga with the No Lock
  • Barrett pinned Kingston with the elbow, which has a new name: The Ball Hammer
  • Del Rio beat Bryan clean with the armbar
  • Miz pinned Barrett with the Skull Crushing Finale after escaping a pump handle slam
  • Del Rio pinned Miz with an enziguri
  • Orton was left with Del Rio and Ziggler. They had the obligatory spot with Foley putting Mr. Socko on Ricardo Rodriguez. Orton used the RKO to pin Del Rio. Del Rio had busted Orton's mouth open with a kick.
  • Orton used the draping DDT on Ziggler but instead of going for the RKO, he backed off and killed time. He went for the punt when Ziggler got up and nailed him.

The last few minutes with Orton was good. Ziggler did a couple of really crazy bumps including Kingston monkey flipping him and hip flipping in mid air, landing on his face.

C.M. PUNK VS. RYBACK VS. JOHN CENA FOR THE WWE TITLE

They gave them time for a 20 minute match. This was exactly what you'd expect as far as the match went. Cena and Punk were good and Ryback was fine. This was the usual three-way WWE style were one guy is hurt and then recovers just as one guy is about to beat the other.  The finish saw Ryback give Punk the Shell Shock and Cena saved him.  Then, Ryback gave the Shell Shock to Cena.

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambose and Seth Rollins all hit the ring and destroyed Ryback incuding a triple team power bomb through the announcers table. Michael Cole identified them and said they were all from NXT, so it was part of trying to get NXT over.

Punk crawled over and pinned Cena to retain the title. This was a good finish (even though it was kind of cheap) because it introduced those guys in a big way instead of a bottom way. Also, Punk retained which is the right thing for business.
