--Rosita (Thea Trinidad) can be added to the list of those whose contracts weren't renewed by TNA this past week.
--The Hardys team up for the first time in a long time on 1/15 in Durham, NC for the return of Omega Pro Wrestling in a benefit show for former Omega wrestler Chuck Coates. The Hardys & James Storm & Shane Helms face Steve Corino & C.W. Anderson & Lodi & Gunner in the main event.
--Paced by all the football games and coverage, ESPN averaged 6.50 million viewers in prime time last week to more than double second place USA (3.00 million). FX was No. 9 at 1.53 million. Syfy was No. 18 at 1.12 million. Spike was No. 20 at 1.05 million. The top 14 shows were all either college football games or college football related. Raw was not in the top 25 although one episode of NCIS on USA was No. 24.
--TNA announced a Gut Check tryout on its 2/2 house show in Fayetteville. D-Lo Brown will do a two hour seminar and then wrestlers will be getting tryouts. For more info on how to try out you can go to TNAGutCheck.com
--On tomorrow's Impact, there will be two wrestlers who will face each other (one is believed to be West Coast wrestler Brian Cage) in a Gut Check match. Then both will be evaluated on the following Thursday's Impact show by Al Snow, Taz and Bruce Prichard.
--Even though Bully Ray is suspended (and hasn't missed any shows), he's scheduled for Impact tomorrow. On twitter he's working the angle asking people if he should just show up.
--The Countdown to UFC 156 debuts on 1/29, which is a Tuesday night at 11 p.m. Eastern on Fuel.
--Dolph Ziggler, A.J. Lee and Big E Langston are scheduled for the NXT house show tonight in Kissimmee, FL.
--NXT tapes tomorrow night in Winter Park, FL at Full Sail University. Shawn Michaels and Jim Ross are both attending that taping.

--A documentary called "The DNA of GSP" is now in production.
--Former FCW wrestler Brian Jack has filed a second lawsuit against WWE, Steve Keirn and FCW claiming a defective ring caused a ring injury that kept him out of action for four months. Jack claimed in his suit that they didn't contact emergency personnel and that Keirn told him if he ever wanted to work in WWE, he's not to call an ambulance or report the injury. Jack had filed a previous suit against WWE that was quickly thrown out.
--Speaking of documentaries, Netflix is carrying "Such Great Heights," a documentary on Jon Fitch. I'll be watching this one soon. I have a few different family members who for different reasons are all Jon Fitch fans.
