White says Diaz missed 3 scheduled interviews; Diaz side claims he did interview Thursday
According to Dana White tonight, they had sent a film crew to Stockton for two weeks to shoot the Countdown for UFC 158, and Nick Diaz thus far has no-showed three interviews.
White said that it's going to be hard to promote the fight to the level it should be promoted if one of the participants isn't doing their part.
Jonathan Tweedale, a lawyer with the Diaz camp, claimed that several dates for interviews were set up without Diaz's knowledge and he had no notice of them. He said said when Diaz learned what had happened, Tweedale set up an interview time and gave Diaz lead time, which took place on Thursday. He said Diaz arrived early and was cooperative.
