UFC on FOX ratings

Last night's show did 3.31 million viewers and a 1.5 in the 18-49 demographic.

That is up 54% from previous shows on FOX that didn't air during football season, but slightly below the two previous shows with NFL promotion.

CBS won the time slot with overall viewership, but the UFC more than doubled anything on network TV in the 18-49 demo.

Keep in mind the number does not include West Coast live viewership, and only includes the 8-10 p.m. time slot, meaning the Benson Henderson vs. Gilbert Melendez main event is not factored in.

The household rating will likely wind up in the low to mid-2s and overall audience would be expected to finish in the 4 million range.  The Henderson vs. Nate Diaz fight ended up being the seventh most-watched MMA fight in U.S. television history.  Given that last night's match had five rounds to build and the outcome was in doubt the entire time, it very well could come close to that same level.
