Early Raw ratings notes
Raw on Memorial Day did an average of about 3.94 million viewers, just slightly ahead of the May 6th show that did 3.92 million, or the second lowest of 2013.
The surprise is that the first hour was the highest rated, which goes against the recent pattern. If anything, with the holiday, one wouild think that wouldn't be the case.
Most likely, the reason is the NBA playoff game on ESPN began at 9 p.m., so the first hour only went against lower rated NHL playoffs on NBC Sports. The basketball game did 5.21 million viewers while the hockey, which started at 8 p.m., did 2.72 million.
The three hours were:
8 p.m. 3.99 milllion
9 p.m. 3.95 million
10 p.m. 3.89 million
The show likely did between a 2.7 and 2.9 rating
