Notes on today's weigh-in from Fortaleza, Brazil:
Ronnie Markes suffered a concussion in a car accident, suffered a concussion, so is fight with Derek Brunson is off. He's okay and will be at the show.

Anthony Smith (17-8, 184) vs. Antonio Braga Neto (8-1, 1 no contest, 185) - These are tall middleweights, Smith is 6-4 and Neto is 6-3
Karlos Vemola (10-3, 186) vs. Caio Magalhaes (5-1, 186) - Vemola booed. Magalhaes out there taking photos of the crowd at weight-ins. Supposed to be the other way around.
Mizuto Hirota (14-6-1, 146) vs. Rodrigo Damm (10-6, 146)- Hirota was a lightweight star in Japan, now a featherweight. Damm also fought most of his career at lightweight, once got slaughtered by Gilbert Melendez in San Jose.
Leandro Silva (11-0-1, 169) vs. Ildemar Alcantara (18-5, 171)
Felipe Arantes (14-4-1, 2 no contests, 146) vs. Godofredo Pepey Castro (10-1, 146) - Pepey has purple hair, crowd likes him and he was cheerleading the crowd. He was in the first season of TUF Brazil, which did high ratings, wentto the finals. Big staredown, Joe Silva had to get in between them.
Vaughn Lee (13-8-1, 134) vs. Raphael Assuncao (18-4, 135) - Brian Stann said Assuncao is the most talented guy in his gym.

Mike Wilkinson (8-0, 145) vs. Rony Jason (13-3, 146) - Jason is a superstar in Brazil. They booed the hell out of Wilkinson and Jason got the best reaction thus far.
Eddie Mendez (7-1-1, 184) vs. Daniel Sarafian (8-3, 186) - big staredown but no threat of physicality.
Jason High (17-3, 170) vs. Erick Silva (14-3, 1 no contest, 170) - Crowd chanting something negative at High. Silva second most popular behind Jason so far.
Rafael Feijao (11-3, 1 no contest, 204) vs. Thiago Silva (14-3, 2 no contets, 206) - Battle of drug test failures. Both not nearly as jacked as they've been in the past. Feijao has wins over King Mo and Yoel Romero.
Leonardo Santos (11-4, 170) vs. William Patolino (7-0, 170) - Santos is a BJJ expert, this is the finals of season 2 of TUF Brazil. Scary how little reaction these two got compared to the guys from the first season.
Fabricio Werdum (16-5-1, 242) vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (34-7-1, 1 no contest, 237) - Nogueira is in better shape than in a few years. Werdum is good shape. 5 round main event.
