B.J. WHITMER VS. MIKE BENNETT

The finish saw the ref distracted and  Brutal Bob ran in, but missed a charge and flew out of the ring.  Whitmer then won clean with the exploder suplex.  Maria, Brutal Bob and Bennett were all arguing.  Maria blamed the loss on Bob Evans and they walked out on Evans.  Decent opener, it came off like the Bennett act is on the way out.

EDDIE EDWARDS & DAVEY RICHARDS VS. ACH & TADARIUS THOMAS

Really good match.  The finish saw ACH go for the 450, Richards got his knees up and then cradled him for the pin.  All-action, crowd chanted "That was awesome" when it was over.

Kevin Kelly was pushing that tomorrow was the most important show in ROH history is tomorrow.  Just what you want to hear when you're paying for an iPPV that tomorrow's show is more important that isn't on iPPV.

ADAM COLE VS. RODERICK STRONG

Good match with the next step in the Cole heel turn.  It was worked like a face vs. face match for the first 12:00.  Both were on the apron with Strong throwing chops and Cole superkicked Strong off the apron through a table.  The finish saw them tease that Cole was going to help Strong into the ring like a sportsman, but then at 14, Cole dropped Strong and jumped into the ring to take the count out win.  I liked the finish as far as where they are going in the story.  Cole was working the match recovering from a staph infection in the elbow.

There have been glitches in the picture, freezing at times, jumping at times.  It's mostly good.  Happening enough that you notice it but not enough to hurt things too much.

MICHAEL ELGIN VS. TOMMASO CIAMPA

Elgin got the pin with a lariat after three spinning back chops.  This match was far better than it sounded.  Best Ciampa match I've seen.  QT Marshall came out after and they teased he was going to attack both guys who were both selling the beating but he never got in the ring.  They shook hands after.  Power stuff early including both doing the delayed vertical suplexes.  Lots of "This is wrestling" and "This is awesome" chants.

Nigel McGuinness is doing commentary for the rest of the show.  Nothing against Steve Corino but McGuinness is a lot better when you've got the main events.

MATT TAVEN VS. JAY LETHAL VS. JIMMY JACOBS FOR THE TV TITLE

Okay, this was a probelm.  Taven retained the titel.  I hae no idea how as the picture went out.  Jay Lethal pulled Scarlett's top off and they put a towel on her.  Seleyzia was protecting Truth Martini as Jacobs wanted to go after him.  Lethal gave Seleyzia a hard superkick which got a big pop, and then the picture went out.  When they came back, Taven was leaving.  Maybe we'll get a replay later.  Missing the finish as well as the beginning of the match turned the corner from the glitches being minor annoyances to significant.

KYLE O'REILLY & BOBBY FISH VS. CLIFF COMPTON & RHETT TITUS VS. CEDRIC ALEXANDER & CAPRICE COLEMAN FOR THE TAG TITLES

Weird finish.  Alexander gave O'Reilly a brainbuster and then Fish kicked Alexander in the head and put O'Reilly on top for the pin. Short match and nobody expected it was ending.  Some cool stuff by Alexander and Coleman with a "C and C" chant after ti was over.  It was a one fall match.  Nigel McGuinness announced it was an elimination match and Kevin Kelly had to correct him, which came off as weird since McGuinness in storyline was the guy who changed the stipulation from elimination to first pin.

KEVIN STEEN VS. MATT HARDY

Hardy won with a twist of fate onto two chairs.  Steen asked Nigel McGuinness to make it a no DQ and McGuiness said it was okay.  Jacobs, Compton and Titus all interfered in the match.  Brutal match.  Steen power bombed Jacobs on the apron and power bombed Hardy on the apron.  Steen used a codebreaker with a ladder for a near fall.  Steen used a low blow and F-5 for a near fall.  Hardy used a low blow and then a side effect on the ladder also for a near fall.  Lots of heat for the match. The crowd hated that Matt went over.

They showed 60 members of the Briscoe family.  They interviewed Papa Mike.

JAY BRISCOE VS. MARK BRISCOE FOR THE ROH TITLE

This is wonderful.  In the middle of the main event, the screen went blank and I can't access it.  We'll update with the result shortly.   Jay retained the title with the Jay driller  I'm guessing it's dead until the replay comes up.  Hopefully this time the end of the match is available on the replay.  Fun times again for ROH.
