Luis Martinez passes away

Dave Burzynski reported today that Luis "Arriba" Martinez, a star for The Sheik in Michigan during the 60s and 70s, passed away in September.

He had been in a Chicago nursing home, confined to a wheelchair, for years.  His death was never reported but a friend who checked up on him every few months went to the nursing home and was told of his passing.

Martinez was 90.  He was among the oldest wrestler still living with recent deaths of Abe Coleman, Angelo Savoldi, Mae Young and Jack LaLanne.
