World Heavyweight Championship Match
Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Mark Henry is "The World's Strongest Man" and weighs in at more than 400 lbs. He makes men tremble at mere sight, and once you've seen him throw his opponents around like rag dolls, or lift up the steel ring steps as if they were cardboard boxes, you will understand why. This former Olympic weightlifter and Arnold Strongman Classic winner is a package of raw power and ruthlessness never seen before in this combination in the WWE. After a long and hard journey of more than 15 years, he finally defeated Randy Orton on September 18, at Night of Champions to win the WWE World Heavyweight championship and reach his ultimate goal of climbing to the top of the WWE. Upon winning this prestigious title, he vowed to hold on to it, quote "Forever!"
Enter The Big Show: Weighing at over 440 lbs. and standing more than 7 feet tall, The Big Show is the largest athlete in the world and and one impressive specimen. Over the past 16 years he faced and defeated many of the greatest superstars of his time. He is himself a former WWE champion and also held many other championships in WWE, WCW and ECW. He may seem to be a jolly giant at times, but once your cross him, be sure to regret it! He vowed to defeat and humiliate Mark Henry, who put him out of action for months, when he attacked and shattered Big Show's ankle with a steel chair back at Money in the Bank on July 17.
Recently, the Big Show returned from his injuries and fought Mark Henry in a fierce and brutal battle at Vengeance, which resulted in a no contest, when the entire ring collapsed under the impact of more than 850 lbs., after Mark Henry superplexed The Big Show from the top rope and both men were unable to continue! Before they face each other once again, for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series (live at 2:00 am only on Sky Select), they chose Vienna as the site of their next, epic encounter. Don't miss these two behemoths clashing once more and be witness of a human version of two massive freight trains colliding. Who will leave the ring as the victor and gain an important psychological advantage before their next big encounter on pay-per-view? Will Mark Henry be able to stop the world's largest athlete in his journey of holding his championship "forever", or will The Big Show defeat his adversary and leave Vienna with the World Heavyweight Championship strapped around his massive waist? It is "The World's Strongest Slam" vs. "The Weapon of Mass Destruction" (a massive one-hit knockout punch), the battle of "The World's Strongest Man" vs. "The World's Largest Athlete", the epic fight of two men who both have one goal only, and that is to make their opponent unable to continue and win the prestiguous World Heavyweight Championship! Tag Team Grudge Match
Randy Orton & Sheamus vs. Christian & Cody Rhodes
These four men have had epic battles with one another over the course of the past few years and held no less than 38 championships in the WWE between them. The rivalry between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes has heated up over the past few weeks, as Randy bloodied Cody with a vicious attack with the ring bell on SmackDown a few weeks back, while Cody attacked Randy with his protective face mask and shamed him by covering his face with one of his trademark brown paper bags. Shameus and Christian on the other hand, had problems of their own, constantly interfering in each others matches an battling over who should become the No. 1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.
"The Viper" Randy Orton is one of the most popular superstars in the modern-day WWE and many men have fallen prey to his quick and unpredictable attacks. His partner, "The Great White" Sheamus has become one of the most popular superstars on RAW during the last few months. This Irish hothead is thriving to perform again before his fellow European members of the WWE Universe. Christian, a veteran of the ring for more than a decade turned on his fans, when he lost his World Heavyweight Champonship to Randy Orton months back, and became frustrated when he could not win it back. Cody Rhodes, the current WWE Intercontinental champion is also a bitter man. The former apprentice of Randy Orton during their common das in Legacy had his face smashed and subsequently reconstructed and is now wearing a protective face mask, the use of which has at times decided the outcome of his matches.
Will "The Viper" and "The Great White" prevail in "The Grudge Match of Vienna", or will the dastardly Cody Rhodes and the veteran Christian be able to beat their great rivals? Will the RKO, Randy Orton's deadliest weapon strike this Saturday, or will the Spear hit it's target, with the Killswitch finishing things off? Maybe Shemaus can hit his patented Brogue Kick or the devastating Celtic Cross to win the match for his team, or Cody's mask will once again be the deciding factor of this match, with Cross Rhodes sealing the doom of his opponents. See the action live in Vienna to find out who will be winning and losing in this epic battle of the tag teams.
