Marquardt update again
Sunday, 26 June 2011 16:10
Ariel Helwani and Stephan Bonnar opened the Versus show talking about the Marquardt situation. They really didn't say anything more than Helwani said Marquardt was on weight and that wasn't an issue; that Greg Sirb of the Pennsylvania commission told him it was a medical thing that Marquardt had known for six weeks he needed to clear up but didn't, and due to HIPPA laws, he would not disclose what it is. That would appear to rule out a failed steroid test because you couldn't get that cleared up. Marquardt is suspended indefinitely until it clears up. Marquardt will not appear on the television show as had been talked about yesterday and today. Dana White will later this hour. But at this point, I don't know that anyone will fully clear up what the situation really is.
