Pennsylvania commissioner passes away
Thursday, 08 September 2011 20:16
Frank Talent, a longtime member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission who was a fixture at Philadelphia events dating back as long as anyone can remember, passed away today. No other details are available right now.
Talent was 74.
He was very well liked by wrestling promoters who he dealt with. He would often, if needed, play the commission figure as part of the shows and was lenient as commissioners went as far as letting wrestlers do what they wanted, particularly after a period in the late 80s and early 90s when Pennsylvania was strict on blood.
