WADE BARRETT VS. DANIEL BRYAN

Barrett once again won with Wasteland in the dark match.

KOFI KINGSTON & EVAN BOURNE VS. JACK SWAGGER & EVAN BOURNE FOR THE TAG TEAM TITLES

Good match ending when Kingston hit Ziggler with the Trouble in Paradise and Bourne followed with the shooting star press for the clean pin.  All action, about what you'd expect from these guys.  They are moving right into the U.S. title match next.

DOLPH ZIGGLER VS. ZACK RYDER FOR THE U.S. TITLE

Ziggler retained the title.  Now I have no clue why he was booked twice because he came in worn out and Ryder still lost.  Kingston & Bourne were booted out.  Swagger stayed out and distracted Ryder.  Ryder did a sliding kick to Swagger knocking him off the apron.  Ryder turned around into a superkick and Ziggler was pinned.

HHH and C.M. Punk were backstage.  Punk knows someone is out to get HHH and Punk said he wants to show Miz & R-Truth tonight what's an unsafe working environment.

BETH PHOENIX VS. EVE TORRES FOR THE DIVAS TITLE

Before the match Phoenix pinned Kelly against the wall and screamed "Cry, Barbie," until Eve made hte save.  Natalya and Kelly were thus banned from ringside for this match.  Torres has new music.

Phoenix won clean with the Glam slam and now is stroking Torres' hair as Torres was laid out.  Longer than the women usually get.  A little better than usual bout but still crowd wasn't into it and some sloppiness in spots as well as a few good spots.

CHRISTIAN VS. SHEAMUS

Good match, but not as good as you'd expect from these two.  Lacked heat until late in the match.  By the book match with Christian twice getting out of the Celtic cross, but when Christian went for the spear, Sheamus used the Brogue kick for the pin.

R-Truth and The Miz were sucking up to John Laurinaitis.  They asked Laurinaitis why he instated them.  Laurinaitis said he thought they were charismatic and had the chance to become the greatest tag team of all-time.  When they asked if he really thought that, he said "Not really, but you suck up really good."  R-Truth and Miz then argued over who was the better suck up, and said HHH and Punk sucked.  Laurinaitis was given a funny line but R-Truth and Miz made seriously lame material here.

C.M. PUNK & HHH VS. THE MIZ & R-TRUTH

So-so match.  Kevin Nash returned at the finish attacking HHH when he and R-Truth were fighting outside the ring.  In the ring, Punk set up Miz for the GTS, but R-Truth hit the ring and they did a double team Skull crushing finale and downward spiral, which Michael Cole called Little Jimmy finale on Punk and Miz pinned him.  Nash continued to beat down HHH after the match and gave him a jackknife power bomb.  HHH landed badly and they were trying to whisper like it was a legit injury but it probably wasn't.

Alberto Del Rio talking to John Laurinaitis.  Ricardo Rodriguez has a black eye.  Laurinaitis gave Del Rio a pep talk.

CODY RHODES VS. RANDY ORTON IN A NON-TITLE MATCH

The wrestling was solid, but until the last minute this match didn't have much heat and the guy who will get blamed for that won't be Orton.  People not buying Rhodes at Orton's level doesn't help.  At one point a bagger distracted Orton and Rhodes used crossroads but Orton kicked out.  A bagger distracted a second time and Rhodes charged but Orton moved and Rhodes collided with the bagger.  Orton then won clean with the RKO.

MARK HENRY VS. BIG SHOW FOR THE WORLD TITLE

They did the Lesnar/Big Show superplex finish where the ring collapsed.  The two had about as good a big man's match as you're going to have.  Show kicked out of a World's Strongest Slam.  Henry kicked out of being slammed off the top.  Show went to the top rope and Henry superplexed him and when the ring collapsed, both guys were selling so it was ruled a no contest.  The crowd went crazy when the ring collapsed, big time.  Both sold like they were done.  Show was too big to go out on a stretcher so they put himi in the back of a cart and drove him to the back.  They have a stretcher for Henry but Henry is crawling to the back rather than going out on a stretcher.  They pretty much turned Henry face when he crawled his way out.

John Laurinaitis announced that even with the broken ring they will have the title match next.

ALBERTO DEL RIO VS. JOHN CENA FOR WWE TITLE LAST MAN STANDING

They did about as good a match as you're going to be able to pull off given the conditions.  They were in a broken ring but took bumps and suplexes and the like and went 27:00.  Ricardo Rodiriguez kept interfering.  They went backstage at one point and Del Rio knocked four door like structures onto Cena but he got up at ten.  At another point Del Rio put Cena through the "V" for Vengeance on the stage.  Del Rio put Cena on a table and climbed up one of the structures but Cena pulled him down and through a table.  Del Rio beat the count.  They ended up beating on each other including Cena delivering the Attitude Adjustment off the ring steps on Del Rio through the Spanish announcers table.  Del Rio would have lost except Miz & R-Truth then hit the ring and Miz delivered the Skull crushing finale and Truth did the downward spiral on Cena.  Cena actually beat the count, but Del Rio then delivered a belt shot and Cena was down for the ten count.  Really great effort from both guys here.
