Learning from the tactics of Dana White, and before that Vince McMahon, Spike TV announced that on Jan. 28 it would be airing a UFC marathon from 4 p.m. to midnight called the "UFC Unleashed marathon: Evans vs. Davis."
The marathon will consist of airing fights of Rashad Evans, Phil Davis, Chael Sonnen and Mark Munoz, all of whom will headline the FOX show.
Spike announced the main events for each hour of programming as:
4-5 p.m. - Bisping vs. Jorge Rivera
5-6 p.m. - Davis vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira
7-8 p.m. - Sonnen vs. Renato Sobral
8-9 p.m. - Munoz vs. Kendall Grove
9-10 p.m. - Evans vs. Brad Imes - Ultimate Fighter 2 final
10-11 p.m. - Evans vs. Rampage Jackson
11 p.m. to midnght - Evans vs. Lyoto Machida
Unlike usual Spike programming, the feed will not be staggered, so these shows will be airing from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the West Coast, since FOX also isn't airing its show for a West Coast prime time airing but from 5-7 p.m. Pacfic. To catch back up, Spike will be airing three more hours of Unleashed (replaying shows earlier) from 9 p.m. to midnight Pacific.
