With the end of the ECW Arena, today is the 11th anniversary of the final ECW show in that building

By Paul Carboni

Today is the 11 year anniversary of the last ECW show ever run at the Arena. Even in its dying days, that show was absolutely packed and it was cold as shit the night of the show. I remember standing on discarded coals from someone's tailgating grill while waiting.
Lineup was:

Chilly Willy and The Blue Boy went to a no contest.
ECW Tag Champs Danny Doring & Amish Roadkill defeated Tony DeVito & Angel when Amish Roadkill pinned Angel.
Balls Mahoney pinned Bilvis Wesley.
Jerry Lynn pinned Spike Dudley.
CW Anderson defeated Super Crazy via submission.
EZ Money TKO Nova.
EZ Money, Julio Dinero, & Chris Hamrick defeated Tommy Dreamer, Christian York, & Joey Matthews when Money pinned Dreamer.
Mikey Whipwreck & Yoshihiro Tajiri beat Guido Maritato & Tony Mamaluke in three falls.
• Guido forced Tajiri to submit and Mamaluke forced Whipwreck to submit.
• Tajiri pinned Mamaluke.
• Tajiri forced Mamaluke to submit.
ECW Champ Steve Corino defeated Justin Credible and Sandman in a “three way dance.”
• Corino pinned Credible.
• Corino pinned Sandman.

Interesting bc we are now hearing about it not being a wrestling venue any longer moving forward in 2012.
