The show opened with John Cena taking questions from fans, largely a waste of time. Cena wasn't cheered nearly to the level you'd expect and his humor wasn't too over. He asked fans that if Ryback won, would he like a shot and the reaction was not what you'd expect. This led to a Tout by Dolph Ziggler and Cena challenged him to come out,

After his music played, Vickie Guerrero came out instead. Vickie accused him of having his fingers in the cookie jar. Ziggler then attacked Cena from behind, but Cena made his own comeback, clotheslining Ziggler over the top rope.

RANDY ORTON VS. ALBERTO DEL RIO

Orton got the pin with an RKO in a good match.  Basic Del Rio working the left shoulder most of the way.  Orton had a few comebacks and there was a messed up spot where Del Rio jumped off the top rope and both just kind of stood there.  For the finish, Ricardo Rodriguez threw Orton's left shoulder into the post and Del Rio used the armbar.  Orton turned it into a cradle so Del Rio broke the hold.  Del Rio went into the corner for his jumping enzuigiri, but Orton ducked and hit a clumsy looking RKO for the pin.

Vickie Guerrero said that tomorrow on Raw she will bring the photos from an anonymous source that proved Cena and A.J. were having an affair.  Paul Heyman came out and tried to get Ryback vs. Punk canceled.  Guerrero said that it's obvious Punk is afraid of Ryback.  Heyman said Punk isn't afraid of anyone, not the Boogeyman, Frankenstein or Ryback.  Heyman said that A.J. got what she deserved.  Heyman said that Vickie is doing a great job and she wouldn't want to mess it up.

KANE & DANIEL BRYAN VS. CODY RHODES & DAMIEN SANDOW FOR THE WWE TAG TITLES

Rhodes & Sandow won via DQ so no title change.  The match was going along fine untli Bryan and Kane kept having miscues.  Kane was about to choke slam Rhodes and Bryan tagged in and used a diving head-butt but Kane pulled Bryan off.  They kept arguing.  Rhodes used Crossroads on Bryan but Kane then saved Bryan.  Kane went wild on both Rhodes & Sandow until the ref DQ'd them.  Crowd groaned at the finish.  Kane choke slammed Sandow after the match.

THE MIZ VS. KOFI KINGSTON FOR THE IC TITLE

Kingston retained with the Trouble in Paradise.  Good match, not at the level of their match last week.  Miz worked on the left leg for several minutes, including taking his boot off, and his wraps off.  Crowd was into it that much early but they got into it when they traded near falls at the end.  Mostly working out of attempts at each others' big moves and finishes.

Matt Striker interviewed Kingston after the match.  He thanked Miz because he brought out a side in Kingston, the Wildcat side of him.

Bryan and Kane argued after.  Kane said that Bryan isn't going to get any vegan candy for Halloween and Bryan said Kane wears a Halloween mask all year long.

ANTONIO CESARO VS. JUSTIN GABRIEL FOR THE U.S. TITLE

Cesaro won clean with the Neutralizer.  Crowd was quiet, maybe even dead for the match but the wrestling was fairly good. The crowd didn't care when you put on an unadvertised match with two guys who don't get a lot of promo time on television. Gabriel did some nice spots on offense and the big move was a Gabriel springboard plancha to the floor. Cesaro caught him with the bolo uppercut, threw Gabriel into the ring and hit his finisher.

Paul Heyman thanked Vickie Guerrero for canceling the Hell in a Cell match.  Vickie told him that the match was still on.

REY MYSTERIO & SIN CARA VS. PRIME TIME PLAYERS

The finish saw Mysterio pin Darren Young after a 619 and falling splash. Sin Cara was injured legit although maybe just shaken up as he got up to celebrate. The injury was Sin Cara flipping over and attempting to DDT O'Neil but he landed on his head. Most of the match consisted of them working over Sin Cara.

Sin Cara has adapted to American style, which is good in that he's easier to work with, but worse because he's toned down what made him get over in the first place.  Mysterio's hot tag and the last minute was good.  The heat spot on Sin Cara went too long and they lost the crowd's interest. Crowd was into it early just because they liked seeing Mysterio.

SHEAMUS VS. BIG SHOW FOR WORLD TITLE

Show won clean with a KO punch in what turned out to be a very good match.  Most of the match was slow with Show dominating with power moves. They came back with some key spots and crowd was really into the final minutes.  The key spot sequence: Sheamus using White Noise on Show for a near fall, Show using a Vader reverse splash for a near fall, Show using the knockout punch the first time and Sheamus kicking out. Sheamus used the Brogue kick and Show kicked out.  Sheamus went for another Brogue kick but Show blocked it and hit the second KO punch. No Dolph Ziggler at all.

Eve Torres wanted to talk to Booker but Booker blew him off because he was concerned with Sheamus. Teddy Long was talking to Eve. Zack Ryder showed up with a Halloween costume as the Wicked Witch of the West and said he was dressed up like Eve. Long said witch had one letter off.

Vince McMahon was there with C.M. Punk.  Punk told Vince to call the match off.  Vince asked if he was afraid of Ryback, intimidated by Ryback.  Punk kept saying no.  Punk walked out.

EVE TORRES VS. LAYLA VS. KAITLYN FOR DIVAS TITLE

Crowd was dead for this and they had no chance this late in the show. Not much of a match either. The finish saw Layla hit a crossbody on Kaitlyn but Kaitlyn rolled through, powerslammed Layla and went for the pin. Eve then used a senton on Kaitlyn and pinned Layla to retain.

C.M. PUNK VS. RYBACK FOR THE WWE TITLE IN THE HELL IN A CELL

Not much of a match and was mostly smoke and mirrors. Ryback survived a fire extinguisher shot and kendo stick shots and had the match won when he had Punk up for the Samoan drop.  Ref Brad Maddox then gave Ryback a low blow and fast counted the pin.

After the match, Ryback threw Maddox into the cage, threw him in the ring and killed him with a clothesline. Ryback took him, press slammed him and threw him into the cage. Heyman pulled Punk out of the cage, but Ryback came out and Heyman ran away. Punk climbed the cage to escape and Ryback climbed up after him. They were on the top of the cage  and Ryback gave him the Shell Shock on top of the cage. Thank God it didn't break.
