This years WWE Australian tour kicked off in Melbourne, and as usual the Rod Laver Arena was close to full and the crowd was hot.
They tried their hardest to kill that atmosphere, until a fun main event.
For the first time I can remember the show had no pyro.
Miz b. Antonio Cesaro with the figure four. Miz came out wearing a Richmond Tigers football guernsey. Richmond are one of the more popular teams here, with a long history of mediocrity. Perfect choice for Miz.
Natalya b. Aksana with the sharp shooter.
The Great Khali b Jinder Mahal.
John Cena b Ryback in a tables match.
Curtis Axel (no Heyman despite being advertised) b. Zack Ryder and Heath Slater in a triple threat when Ryder hit his move on Slater and Axel stole the pin. I bet you didn't see that one coming.
Daniel Bryan v Dean Ambrose in a Melbourne Streef Fight went about 20 minutes before the Shield, Kane and Cena all ran in and it was turned into a six man. Ambrose is a great opponent for Bryan. When Bryan used submissions the Yes chants turned into Tap chants.
Bryan, Kane, Cena b Shield when Kane pinned Rollins.
Bryan was the most over on the show by far. Yes chants and Daniel Bryan chants started up throughout the show at any slow moments, which if you look at the card you can see was often. They played Fandango music to clear the building after the show.
