WWE NXT TV Report: The End Of The Bo Dallas Era, Neville vs. Hawkins

Bo Dallas

By Emerson Witner

In a Win Or Go Home Match, Big E pinned Bo Dallas

We start the show with the match I thought was happening at Takeover. If Bo wins he will get a title shot, but if he loses he will leave NXT FOREVER! He is 2-0 against the man he defeated for the title. Before the match, Bo humbly accepts the title of Mr. NXT and looks at the audience as his family. If this is how his family treats him, he should avoid Olive Garden. The fans remember the Five Count gimmick that Big E had here and only here.

Big went for the Five Punches Of Doom, but Bo shoved him away and the match seemed to revolve around Bo being a coward. Finally Bo dove at Big's knee, sending him crashing into the ring steps to get the heat. Someone has a sign that reads Know More Bo. I agree that we need to know more about Bo. Big went for the Big Ending, but Bo picked up a near fall with the Scorpion Death Drop. Bo hits the Double Arm DDT for another 2 count, which no one apparently kicks out of.

They played off their original finish where Bo ripped the turnbuckle off and sent Big crashing into it, but this time Big tossed Bo into it and hit the Big Ending for the win! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! It is the end of an era! Leave the memories alone, don't change a thing. Bo cried, I cried, and we went to “commercial”.

-During the commercial break, Bo kicked the steps and hurt his leg and the fans chanted “BO LEAVE”. Somehow during this 30 second commercial break, Bo also cut a promo, saying that he strong disliked all of the Full Sail fans and they all stink.

-Last week, Tyson Kidd said winning the NXT Title is the reason he puts on boots and tights. I figured he did that so he wasn't naked while he wrestled.

-Elsewhere, Devin interviewed Sami Zayn who thinks it stinks that he lost last week. Up wandered Tyler Breeze who pointed out that while he lost last week, he didn't lose to Sami. They set up a match next week because Tyler had to go buy a phone case at 9:30 at night.

WWE Divas Champion/Linear NXT Woman's Champion Paige pinned Tamina Snuka

Paige had to forfeit the NXT Woman's Title five weeks ago because she was too busy to defend the belt on NXT. This, by the way, was the second match Paige has had here since being stripped of the title. Rich Brennan, the lead announcer, spoiled that Natalya wins the other semi-final match later on tonight. Alex Riley told us that 21-year old Paige, who has been wrestling since since was 13, is an 11-year veteran.

Tamina beat the hell out of the champ, including keeping her in a Torture Rack for close to 30 seconds, before dropping her. Paige with a running knee against the ropes, which pissed off Tamina, so she place Paige on the top rope and shoved her off the top rope and onto the pretty black mats outside. Back in the ring, Paige got her knees up on a Superfly Splash and then got the win with a small package.

Adam Rose defeated Camacho by countout

This match has been built up for SIX WEEKS, even more disturbing was Bayley and Sasha Banks were both Rose Buds. Camacho wants The Freak Show to go. I think that every time the Menagerie comes out. Adam Rose showed his Samoan-ness by going psycho when his head was smashed into the turnbuckle and began his comeback. Rose went for the Rose Fall, but Camacho decided to fight another night and took a countout instead.

In the semifinals of the Paige Invitational (aka the NXT Woman's Title Tournament), Natalya defeated Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks ran to the back, got out of her Rose Bud attire and came out for her next match. Charlotte did an inset promo saying she didn't want to beat Sasha next week. That's nice of her. How did I never notice Charlotte's big ass mole on her chin?

This was a very good match, much better than what happened last week with Charlotte and Alexa. Sasha went for a big bulldog and landed on her ass, bruising her coccyx. She rolled outside the ring to regain him composure, so Charlotte threw her back in, leading to Nattie making her tap to the Sharpshooter.

-Next week on NXT Takeover:

  • NXT Champion Adrian Neville vs Tyson Kidd
  • Sami Zayn vs Tyler Breeze in a #1 Contender's Match
  • Charlotte vs Natalya for the vacant NXT Woman's Title
  • The Ascension vs El Local & Kallisto for the Tag Team Titles
  • Adam Rose vs Camacho

NXT Champion Adrian Neville defeated Curt Hawkins

It is the Man Who Gravity Forgot vs the Man Who WWE Forgot in our main event. Sadly the match started with about 4 minutes of tv time left, because this could be really good if given time. A very basic main event which was an excuse to see Neville use his moves. The champ won with a Red Arrow.

After the match, Tyson Kidd walked out in his gear. If we are supposed to believe this was live, why would Kidd be in his gear? Kidd told him that Neville's title is going to be his in 7 days because he has been on Raw and SmackDown. So was Brodus Clay and it didn't work for him. Tyson bragged about his WrestleMania moment. In case you have no idea what the hell he is talking about, Tyson was in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. Neville said he would win and that the only person in the Kidd household who would have gold is Tyson's wife.

That does it for another episode of NXT! Next week: 8pm Eastern, 7pm Central, 6pm Mountain and 5pm on the west coast, it is Takeover! Until then, remember to say your vitamins and take your prayers! Don't forget to check out the Wrestling Outsiders podcast every Wednesday at 11 PM EST as my brother and I look at past WWE, WCW, and ECW ppvs.
