Lashley result from tonight



Pro wrestler Bobby Lashley moved his record to 9-2 tonight with a 98 second choke submission win over unknown Matthew Larson in the Global Warrior Challenge PPV tnight in Kansas City at the Sprint Center.

Lashley scored the win after a takedown and getting back control.  It's Lashley's second win in the last three weeks.

Over the next few months he has a full docket of pro wrestling and MMA fights, as well as a potential boxing debut in the fall.

Other results involving former UFC fighters included Marcin Lazarz beating former UFC heavyweight champion Ricco Rodriguez via decision, Andre Winner beat Drew Fickett by decision, Kendall Grove beat Danny Mitchell at 4:53 via strikes and Oli Thompson beat Kevin Asplund via strikes in 3:21.

There is talk of Lashley vs. Thompson in November.
