Saturday night's edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT averaged 649,000 viewers, up 17.8 percent from the previous week's episode that aired later in the evening on a Friday.

The Saturday night Dynamite episode was headlined by Kenny Omega defending his AEW World Championship against Jungle Boy.

The viewership was higher than Dynamite had been doing on Fridays the last several weeks. Outside of those episodes, it was the lowest number for Dynamite since June 24 of last year, when it was still opposed by NXT on Wednesdays.

In the 18-49 demo, Saturday's Dynamite drew a 0.21 rating, up five percent from last week.

Dynamite faced stiff competition in the form of the NBA Conference Finals on ESPN. Most NBA playoff games have been doing 5-6 million viewers over the last week.

Year-over-year, Dynamite was up 2.5 percent in overall viewership and up 4.6 percent in the 18-49 demo. The numbers had somewhat bottomed out at this time last year.

After moving around time slots for the last five episodes, Dynamite will move back to its regular slot on TNT at 8 p.m. Eastern this Wednesday with a live show from Daly's Place in Jacksonville.

Here's a look at the last 11 weeks of viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week average:
