Cash Wheeler said to be ok following injury at AEW Fight for the Fallen

Following a freak injury during AEW Fight for the Fallen Wednesday, Cash Wheeler was said to be ok according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

During Wheeler and Dax Harwood's tag team match against Santana & Ortiz, Wheeler was going to the top rope when Santana prevented it. When Wheeler came down, his arm apparently got pinched in the hook of the turnbuckle which opened up a cut on his arm.

Wheeler immediately went to ringside where AEW medical personnel checked on him but he never got back into the match. Shortly thereafter, Harwood got the win for FTR in what was clearly not the planned finish of their highly-anticipated first meeting in a tag team match.

It's unknown if Wheeler will miss any time. As of now, he hasn't posted anything on social media about the injury.

The two have been part of the ongoing Pinnacle vs. Inner Circle feud that started after March's Revolution.
