Punk to the UFC octagon saw the door shut and the clock strike midnight, not Eastern time, but Cinderella time.

In the end it was simple reality. Starting out at 36 with very limited training past some Jiu Jitsu classes from Rener Gracie, no great athletic gifts and a body beaten up by 15 years of pro wrestling was not going to be able to train for two years and be able to compete in the UFC.

Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson are going back-and-forth on social media today to build up a light heavyweight title rematch. Johnson wants the fight on 11/12 in Madison Square Garden while Cormier suggested 12/30 in Las Vegas. Either way, both want the fight. There's also a lot of talk of Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum on that show.  Neither of these fights are finalized at this point. Johnson's starting point on all of this is can be read here.

The 9/26 Raw could do a disastrous number because it's up against both the NFL and the Presidential debate. What could save it is that there is a traditional Raw bump the day after a PPV show.
