FRIDAY NEWS UPDATE

The Kenny Omega vs. Kota Ibushi match from Budokan Hall from last month airs tonight on AXS TV.

Daniel Bryan isn't advertised on the WWE Smackdown weekend shows. Randy Orton is advertised.

Today would be the 77th birthday of Jack Brisco if he was still alive.

Northeast Wrestling tickets went on sale today for the 11/9 show in Poughkeepsie, NY at the Mid Hudson Civic Center. Two matches announced so far are Omega vs. Rey Fenix vs. Penta 0M vs. Darby Allin. Rob Van Dam and David Arquette are also scheduled. Omega will also be appearing on 11/10 in New York at the Big Event Convention in Queens, NY.

At the UFC weigh-ins earlier today, Renan Barao weighed in at 141.75 for a 135 pound weight class fight against Andre Ewell. The fight will go on as scheduled but Barao has to forfeit 30 percent of his purse to Ewell.
