Rocky Romero, who was among those who has been talked about as leaving New Japan for WWE, has signed a new deal with New Japan.
Romero had been in talks with WWE about a job as a "player/coach" in NXT, and told a number of people today he had decided to stay put for at least two more years.
Romero has been working for New Japan since 2002 as a regular in the junior heavyweight division.

Tokyo Sports reported this evening that New Japan Pro Wrestling star Shinsuke Nakamura will be leaving the promotion at the end of the month, according to translations done by Chris Charlton.
After news broke that several NJPW stars might be on their way to WWE, the promotion started to address the situation on their post-WK10 show.
Four of NJPW's brightest talents look to be on their way to WWE/NXT.
