Two months after breaking his right orbital bone, Oney Lorcan returned to the ring at last night's NXT house show.
Lorcan & Danny Burch lost a tag match to the War Raiders in Lowell, Massachusetts last night. Lorcan is from Massachusetts, and he was also involved in a segment where wrestlers sang "Sweet Caroline" (which is played during every Boston Red Sox home game) at the end of the show in Lowell.
Lorcan had suffered the broken orbital bone while teaming with Burch against Kyle O'Reilly & Roderick Strong at TakeOver: Chicago in June. Lorcan & Burch unsuccessfully challenged for the Undisputed Era's NXT Tag Team titles in that match.
Elsewhere on last night's event, Deonna Purrazzo wrestled in her first match for NXT since signing with WWE. She lost to Bianca Belair.
Purrazzo also took part in the Mae Young Classic earlier this month.
NXT will be in Asbury Park, New Jersey tonight for the brand's final house show before TakeOver: Brooklyn.
