SmackDown's go-home show for Money in the Bank will take place at the FedExForum in Memphis, Tennessee and will feature two first-time in WWE matches.
United States Champion Jeff Hardy is set to face Shinsuke Nakamura in a non-title match, and Daniel Bryan will take on Shelton Benjamin
Nakamura wrestles Hardy days before he is set to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship in a last man standing match. Bryan also has a tough opponent before he goes one-on-one with Big Cass at the pay-per-view.
Styles will be interviewed by Jerry Lawler tonight as Lawler makes an appearance in his hometown. And General Manager Paige will host a women’s Money in the Bank summit with Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Naomi, and Lana as the final build to Sunday's women's ladder match.
We'll also see if WWE reveals which New Day member will be in the men's ladder match.

-GM Paige started off the show by hosting the women’s Money in the Bank summit. Paige introduced the ladder match participants Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Naomi and Lana. Paige noted the Raw competition is tough but the SmackDown participants are the best. She doesn’t care who wins as long as one of them brings the briefcase to SmackDown.
Lana promised to win the match but Naomi interrupted her and they argued. Both Flair and Lynch guaranteed to win the match Sunday as well.
Peyton Royce & Billie Kay interrupted and mocked the women in the ring. They did impressions of Lynch, Flair and Lana and Naomi’s dance off. Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville joined the IIconics and insulted all four women in the ring. Lynch, Lana, Flair and Naomi had enough and jumped the heels. An eight women tag team match was announced for later.
Daniel Bryan defeated Shelton Benjamin
Daniel Bryan’s awesome promo posted online last week aired on TV this week before the match. They started off with some mat wrestling before the pace picked up.
Benjamin tried to send Bryan to the floor but he landed on the apron. Benjamin superkicked Bryan’s knee and he crashed on the floor. Benjamin then dropped Bryan knee first on the announce table.
Benjamin used a half-crab and continued to work over the left knee. Bryan fought back and worked over Benjamin’s left knee as well. Benjamin nailed Bryan with a stiff knee and hit a superplex for a near fall. Bryan locked on the Yes Lock but Benjamin countered into the half-crab. Bryan then countered into the heel hook for the submission win.
-Paige ran into Asuka backstage. Asuka demanded to have a match with Carmella tonight. Instead, Paige added Asuka and Carmella to the eight women tag team match later.
She then ran into The Miz wearing a referee’s shirt. He said he was getting ready for a movie role as Ruff Ruff Ref and offered to be the referee for Rusev versus Samoa Joe later. Paige agreed and made him the referee for the match.
-Jerry “The King” Lawler interviewed WWE Champion AJ Styles. Lawler praised Styles for slapping Shinsuke Nakamura last week and compared it to him slapping Andy Kaufman. Styles apologized for not knocking Nakamura out and promised to be the last man standing on Sunday.
Rusev (w/ Aiden English) defeated Samoa Joe w/ Special Guest Referee The Miz
Rusev had the advantage as they briefly brawled around ringside. Joe hit a huge suicide dive to gain control of the match. Rusev made a brief comeback but Joe fired back with a vicious clothesline.
Rusev set up for the Machka kick but Joe locked on the Coquina Clutch. English distracted Miz and Joe collided with Miz. Joe had the match won but Miz wouldn’t make the count.
Joe grabbed Miz by the finger but Rusev nailed Joe with the Machka Kick for the win. Rusev attacked Joe with a ladder after the match. Miz jumped Rusev from behind and hit the Skull Crushing Finale.
Miz climbed up the ladder and pulled down the briefcase. Miz made Byron Saxton open the briefcase but instead of the contract it was filled with pancakes. The New Day was backstage laughing. Kofi and Xavier were wearing one t-shirt.
United States Champion Jeff Hardy defeated Shinsuke Nakamura by disqualifcation in a non-title match
Hardy nailed Nakamura with a running clothesline off the apron. During the break, Nakamura gained the advantage. Hardy made a brief comeback but Nakamura took back over. Nakamura missed a knee in the corner and Hardy hit Whisper in the Wind for a close near fall.
Nakamura missed the Kinshasa and Hardy hit the Twist of Fate. Hardy hit the Swanton Bomb but Nakamura got his leg on the bottom rope. Hardy attempted another Twist of Fate but Nakamura used a low blow for the disqualification. After the match, Nakamura hit the Kinshasa and gave Hardy a 10 Count.
-Renee Young interviewed Carmella and asked if she’s concerned about possibly facing Asuka tonight. Carmella laughed at the question and said she’s ready for Asuka.
-In the back, Big Cass said he spent the day at the fair and took pictures for the opening of a roller coaster. He brought the height requirement sign for the ride to the show. He mocked Daniel Bryan’s size and promised to win Sunday.
Asuka, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Lana & Charlotte Flair defeated SmackDown Women’s Champion Carmella, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Billie Kay & Peyton Royce
This match was hyped as the largest women’s tag team match in SmackDown history. The faces were firmly in control until the heels distracted Lynch and Royce blindsided her with a kick. The heels isolated Lynch in their corner and worked her over.
Flair got the hot tag and ran wild. She hit a spear on Royce and attempted a moonsault but Royce got her knees up. Asuka nailed Rose with a missile dropkick and locked on the Asuka Lock.
A brawled broke out between all ten women. During the chaos, Carmella made the tag. Flair hit her moonsault to the floor taking out all the women. Carmella caught Asuka with a kick but Lana broke up the pin attempt. Asuka locked on the Asuka Lock on Carmella for the win.
Flair, Naomi, Lana, Lynch and Asuka briefly celebrated their win. All the women surrounded Asuka and looked up at the briefcase.
