Two title changes at NWA TV tapings

Two title changes took place at the NWA's television tapings in Atlanta on Tuesday night.

The Rock 'n' Roll Express once again hold NWA Tag Team gold, as Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson defeated Thomas Latimer & Royce Isaacs to win the NWA Tag Team titles. Colt Cabana also won the NWA National Championship from James Storm.

It's been an eventful week for The Rock 'n' Roll Express. The Hall of Fame tag team also made their NJPW debuts last Friday and wrestled on all three nights of NJPW's Fighting Spirit Unleashed East Coast tour.

The Rock 'n' Roll Express are the third team to hold the NWA Tag Team titles since they were reintroduced earlier this year. Latimer & Isaacs had won them from ROH's PCO & Brody King in a dark match prior to Global Wars Espectacular: Chicago last month.

The NWA National title was reintroduced in 2018, and this is the second time Cabana has held it since then. Storm had won the title from him in June.

The NWA was at GPB (Georgia Public Broadcasting) Studios for tapings on Monday and Tuesday. The name of their weekly show is NWA Power. It will air on the NWA's Facebook page and YouTube channel on Tuesdays at 6:05 p.m. Eastern time, with the first episode debuting on October 8.
