AEW Dynamite draws lowest ratings since move to TBS

The show averaged 954,000 viewers and drew a 0.35 in the 18-49 demo.

Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite averaged 954,000 viewers on TBS, down 13.3 percent from last week. It's the lowest audience for the show since December 15, and it's Dynamite's biggest week-to-week drop since last April.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.35 rating, down 14.6 percent from last week. That's also the show's lowest rating since December 15.

Dynamite finished third on the cable charts in the key demo, trailing the season premiere of South Park on Comedy Central and an NBA game on ESPN.

Ratings were down in every age group with the exception of females 12-34, which were up 6.7 percent. The biggest drop was with males in that same age group, which fell 30 percent.

As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was up 13 percent in overall viewers and up 9.4 percent in 18-49. That is being compared to when the show still had NXT on Wednesdays as direct competition.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week averages in both categories prior to this week. This week's show was down 1.4 percent in viewers and down 5.4 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages. It's the first time Dynamite has been below the 10-week averages since moving to TBS.
