Wednesday's AEW Dynamite averaged 921,000 viewers on TBS, down one percent from the previous week. It's the second-lowest audience for the show so far in 2022.
Dynamite finished fourth on cable in the 18-49 demo with a 0.33 rating. That's down 10.8 percent from last week and is also the show's second-lowest number of the year in that category.
The NBA playoffs on TNT dominated the cable charts. The early game averaged 2.7 million viewers and drew a 0.97 rating in 18-49. The late game, featuring the Golden State Warriors, averaged more than four million viewers and drew a 1.37 rating.
For the night, Dynamite finished behind the two NBA playoff games and TNT's post-game coverage in 18-49.
Dynamite's overall audience would've been down much more if not for an increase with people over 50. Dynamite drew a 0.38 rating in that age group, which was up 11.8 percent from last week. The show had a huge decrease with men 12-34, which was down 45.5 percent. All of the other categories were down or even with last week.
The show was up 3.6 percent in total viewers from the same week in 2021 but was even in the 18-49 demo.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This week's show was down 5.1 percent in viewers and down 13.2 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
