Wednesday night's AEW Dynamite averaged 913,000 viewers on TNT, up four percent from last week. It's still the second-lowest audience total the show has drawn on a Wednesday since July 7.
In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite drew a 0.35 rating, up six percent from last week. That's also Dynamite's second-lowest showing in the demo since July 7, which was the first week that AEW returned to live touring.
Dynamite finished third on the cable charts in the 18-49 demo, trailing only two NBA games on ESPN. Only the early game went head-to-head with Dynamite, and it averaged the same 0.35 demo number but with slightly more viewers.
It was the third week in a row where the show aired live in all time zones as opposed to the staggered feed that TNT had previously used for the West Coast. This negatively affects viewership since Dynamite no longer airs in prime time in the Pacific and Mountain time zones.
As compared to the same week in 2020, Dynamite was up 19.5 percent in overall viewers and up 13.3 percent in 18-49. It's the first Wednesday night airing of Dynamite since June where the year-over year growth in 18-49 wasn't at least 20 percent.
