AEW Dynamite ratings up for Fight for the Fallen

The show finished second on cable in the 18-49 demo.

Wednesday's Fight for the Fallen episode of AEW Dynamite averaged 976,000 viewers on TBS, up 7.3 percent from last week. It's the largest audience total for the show since July 6.

In the 18-49 demo, Dynamite finished second on the cable charts with a 0.33 rating. That's up 3.1 percent from last week but marked the first time in six weeks that Dynamite wasn't in the top spot. An MLB game between the New York Yankees and New York Mets finished first with a 0.50 rating. The game averaged more than 2.1 million viewers. 

Dynamite was even or up in every ratings category. The biggest increase came with males 12-34, which had a huge increase of 53.9 percent to a 0.20 rating. That's Dynamite's best rating in that category since May 18.

As compared to the same week in 2021, Dynamite was down 11.9 percent in overall viewers and down 26.7 percent in 18-49. It's the third straight week the latter decline has been more than 20 percent, which is the first time that's happened since October 2020.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and individual demo ratings for Dynamite, along with the 10-week averages in every category. This week's episode was up 5.5 percent in viewers but down 2.9 percent in 18-49 as compared with the recent averages.
