AEW Dynamite ratings up for Forbidden Door go-home show

Dynamite ranked number one on cable on Wednesday night.

Wednesday night's Forbidden Door go-home edition of AEW Dynamite averaged 878,000 viewers on TBS, up 15.4 percent from last week. It's Dynamite's fourth-lowest audience to date since moving to TBS.

Dynamite topped the cable charts with a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 10.7 percent from last week. That ties Dynamite's second-lowest rating in the demo so far on TBS.

The show faced strong sports competition from the NHL Stanley Cup Finals on ABC, which averaged 4.6 million viewers and drew a 1.31 rating in 18-49 to top all of television.

As compared to the same week in 2021 when the show moved nights due to NBA playoff coverage, Dynamite was up 35.3 percent in overall viewers and up 47.6 percent in 18-49.
