AEW Fyter Fest night two live results: Jericho vs. Orange Cassidy

Fyter Fest continues tonight on TNT.

Orange Cassidy vs. Chris Jericho will headline night two of the event. Their feud was set in motion when Jericho and The Inner Circle beat Cassidy down with a bag of blood oranges. Cassidy got a measure of revenge a week later when he cost Jericho and Sammy Guevara a shot at the AEW Tag Team titles. The two had a strong brawl two weeks ago on Dynamite and a pull-apart on night one of Fyter Fest last week.

Kenny Omega and Hangman Page will defend their AEW World Tag Team Championships against Private Party. Omega and Page successfully defended their titles last week against Best Friends, while Private Party defeated Santana and Ortiz a week ago to earn the title shot.

The Young Bucks will be in action this evening, teaming with FTR. They will take on The Butcher, The Blade, Pentagon Jr. and Rey Fenix in an eight-man tag.

Colt Cabana will team with Mr. Brodie Lee and Stu Grayson against the SCU trio of Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky.

A major announcement from Taz and Brian Cage has been advertised for the show as well. Cage was originally scheduled to challenge Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship tonight, but that match has been pushed to next week's Fight for the Fallen.

Lance Archer vs. Joey Janela and Nyla Rose in action have also been advertised for tonight's show.

Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

AEW World Tag Team Championship match: Hangman Page & Kenny Omega defeated Private Party (w/Matt Hardy) to retain the titles

This was a great opener.

Omega and Marq Quen kicked things off. Quen used a headscissors takedown and a trip takedown to set up a standing moonsault attempt. Omega got his knees up to cut Quen off. Page and Omega hit a series of chops.

Page hit a fall-away slam with a bridge for a two count. Omega missed a kotaro krusher. Isiah Kassidy tagged in to hit the silly string on Omega. Page and Quen brawled on the floor where Page threw Quen over the barricade. Kassidy hit a spectacular springboard dive to the floor.

All four guys jumped in as the match broke down. Quen and Kassidy hit a double Spanish fly on Omega for a near fall. Kassidy got another near fall off a backbreaker. Page blind tagged himself in and powerbombed Quen on top of Kassidy.

Kassidy hit a moonsault off the post to Omega on the floor. Kassidy cut Page off as he went for a Buckshot Lariat on Quen and nailed him with a flatliner on the stage. Quen hit a shooting star press on Page but Omega broke up the pin at the last possible instant.

Omega and Page blocked the Gin 'n' Juice. Omega sent Quen outside with a v-trigger.

Omega and Page then hit the Last Call on Kassidy and Page scored the pinfall.

The announce team previewed the rest of the card.

Lance Archer vs. Joey Janela is up next.

Lance Archer (w/Jake Roberts) defeated Joey Janela

Archer entered with Janela's tag partner Sonny Kiss in a fireman's carry on his shoulders. Archer launched Kiss into Janela. Janela came back with a dive off the post.

Janela set up a table on the outside. He then grabbed a chair and climbed to the top rope. The referee took the chair away which gave Archer time to recover. Archer hit a pounce, then targeted Janela's back with stomps.

You could see welts forming on Janela's back and chest from the force of Archer's blows. Archer continued working Janela over as the show went to a commercial break.

A Cody appearance on the Hot Ones game show was advertised during this match and segments will be played from it throughout the rest of the show.

After the break, Janela was making a comeback with clotheslines. Archer didn't leave his feet. Archer went for Blackout. Janela countered into an elbow drop for a near fall.

Roberts jumped on the apron with a snake bag and took the ref. Janela hit Archer with a senton. Kiss hit a 450 splash. Janela covered for a two count.

Archer hit Blackout through the table that Janela had set up earlier. Archer threw Janela inside and pinned him.

A Darby Allin video played. Allin said he's been out of the ring for a month and he hasn't forgotten that Brian Cage put him out.

Allin hit a Coffin Drop off a tall platform into a foam pit.

Tony Schiavone went to the ring and introduced Taz and Brian Cage.

Taz brought a black bag to the ring. He said what was in the bag was something he created years ago with his blood, sweat and tears, the FTW World Championship.

Taz said no promotion has ever recognized the FTW title but fans around the world recognize that whoever holds that title is the baddest son of a bitch on the planet. Taz said Cage is no longer uncrowned, he's the new FTW champion.

Taz said the FTW Championship is some renegade sh**. He said Cage is the FTW Champion and will soon be the AEW Champion too.

Taz continued his run of great promos here.

The Butcher, The Blade, Pentagon Jr. & Rey Fenix defeated The Young Bucks & FTR

This was an incredible match. If they wanted to go the rest of the show I would have been fine with it.

Penta and Nick started off but Penta demanded that Harwood tag in. Harwood and Wheeler went after Pentagon's left arm. Pentagon came back with kicks to Harwood. Pentagon hit a double stomp off the top. Fenix tagged in for a springboard kick and a one count.

Things descended into chaos. This was just all action. The Bucks doubled up and hit tandem dropkicks and superkicks. Butcher and Blade jumped in and cut off the Bucks. FTR made the save for the Bucks.

Fenix and Nick Jackson ended up the legal men. Nick hit a super frankensteiner for a near fall. Wheeler jumped in and hit a dragon suplex. Finally the heels cut off Wheeler and worked him over through a commercial break.

Matt got a tag and ran wild with a double high cross. He hit a standing sliced bread on Fenix. He hit a dive off the post to Butcher and Blade. Matt hit a top rope elbow on Fenix for a two count.

Harwood blind tagged in and hit a DDT on Blade. Harwood and Matt hit tandem superkicks. Wheeler and Nick hit a Goodnight Express. Harwood and Wheeler went for a spike piledriver on Blade. Butcher saved. Nick completed the spike piledriver. Harwood covered but got pulled out of the ring.

Harwood and Matt hit a tandem superplex. Wheeler hit a springboard splash. Nick hit a swanton bomb. Pentagon broke up a pin.

Matt and Pentagon ended up the legal men. Fenix hit a springboard destroyer on Nick off the second rope to the floor. That was insane.

The finish saw Matt accidentally hit Harwood with a kick. Pentagon and Fenix hit Matt with the fire driver for the pin.

Alex Marvez and an unnamed legal representative greeted Big Swole as she arrived at the building. Big Swole was served with suspension papers. The announcers explained that Britt Baker petitioned AEW to have Swole suspended for kidnapping and harassment. Swole left.

The heel has a real point here.

Nyla Rose defeated KiLynn King & Kenzie Paige

Rose won a squash after hitting a Beast Bomb on Paige and pinning both Paige and King at the same time.

Rose cut a promo after the match. She said that actions speak louder than words and her actions spoke loudly here tonight. She then proceeded to say more words.

Rose said she sees all these great wrestlers in AEW with managers and most of them have titles. She said she's going to have a manager but she's not ready to say who it is yet.

Rose turned her attention to Hikaru Shida in the crowd. She said the manager will ensure that she will leave AEW with Hikaru Shida's title very soon.

Colt Cabana was in the trainer's room. The trainer said that Cabana had a hematoma after being whipped into a railing backstage last week but he's cleared to compete. Cabana had a nasty bruise.

Mr. Brodie Lee entered and told Cabana that things like this wouldn't happen in the future if Cabana had Dark Order watching his back. Cabana thanked Lee.

Mr. Brodie Lee, Colt Cabana & Stu Grayson defeated Scorpio Sky, Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels

This was a good match and the story of Cabana slowly embracing Dark Order is growing on me.

Grayson and Daniels started out. Grayson got some offense before Daniels cut him off. Kazarian tagged in and hit a release German suplex for a two count.

Cabana and Sky tagged in. Cabana sold his ribs as Sky grabbed him. Lee began yelling at Cabana from the apron as if he was angry that Cabana was showing weakness.

Dark Order provided a distraction from the stage. Lee jumped in and cut Sky off. Lee, Grayson and Cabana took turns working Sky over through a commercial break.

After the break, Lee slammed Sky. Grayson hit a splash off the top for a two count. Sky came back with a kick to Cabana's ribs and a neckbreaker.

Kazarian and Lee got tags. Kazarian hit a one-legged dropkick, blocked a boss man slam and hit a springboard DDT. Lee hoisted Kazarian up. Daniels hit him with a missile dropkick and Kazarian covered for a near fall.

Kazarian hit Grayson with a slingshot cutter. Lee hit a boss man slam on Kazarian. Daniels hit a tope suicida to Lee. Daniels hit Grayson with a moonsault but Cabana broke up the pin.

Lee jumped in and hit Daniels with a discus lariat. He then ordered Grayson to tag in Cabana to cover Daniels for the pin.

Cody defending the TNT title in an open challenge, FTR vs. THe Lucha Brothers, Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks vs. Jurassic Express and Jon Moxley vs. Brian Cage were announced for next week.

Big Swole entered the arena and confronted Britt Baker. Swole balled up her suspension papers and threw them at Baker's nose. Baker sold this like she had been shot in the face with a pellet gun.

Chris Jericho (w/Santana & Ortiz) defeated Orange Cassidy

This was a hell of a main event.

Cassidy ran wild at the outset. He hit a suicide dive and whipped Jericho into the barricade. Excalibur pointed out on commentary that Jericho hurt the arm he uses for the Judas Effect on a shot into the barricade.
