Finals set for NXT Women's Breakout Tournament

The finals have been set for the NXT Women’s Breakout tournament.

Roxanne Perez and Tiffany Stratton will meet in the finals of this year’s tournament. A date for the finals has not been set.

Stratton ended up replacing Nikkia Lyons, as it was announced on tonight's NXT that she was out of the tournament due to injury. Fallon Henley originally was set to get a bye to the finals. However, Stratton interrupted Henley during an interview and took exception to Henley getting a bye. This set up a match for later in the show where the winner would advance to the Breakout Tournament finals, with Stratton pinning Henley.

Perez defeated Lash Legend in the other semifinal match, winning with a code red. Perez originally defeated Kiana James to advance to the semifinals, while Nikkita Lyons had defeated Ariana Grace to initially advance.

The winner of this year’s Breakout Tournament will receive a NXT Women’s title match, a championship that is currently held by Mandy Rose.
