A rematch for the NXT Women’s Tag Team titles is set for next week’s NXT.
Kayden Carter and Katana Chance will defend their titles against Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons in a rematch from last week. In addition, four other matches are set for the show: Stacks will take on Hank Walker, Cameron Grimes will face Joe Gacy, Brutus Creed will take on Damon Kemp in a five minute challenge, and Andre Chase will face Charlie Dempsey.
Tuesday’s NXT saw Stark expressing frustration that she and Lyons had won the titles last week, only for the referee to reverse their decision, leading to Chance and Carter retaining after the match had restarted. Later, she lost a match to Indi Hartwell after her frustration got the best of her, leading Hartwell to cut her off and score the win.
The Creeds came out on last week’s show and demanded Kemp adhere to the stipulations from Halloween Havoc. Kemp said that he agreed to the stipulation, but didn’t say when it would happen.
After Thea Hail lost to Kianna James on Tuesday, Andre Chase was attacked by a returning Charlie Dempsey. Duke Hudson, who was sent to the back by Chase after he was cheating on behalf of Hail, came back and chased Dempsey out of the ring.
In a backstage segment, Ava Raine explained to Vic Joseph why she joined The Schism. It was mentioned by Joseph that Cameron Grimes said Raine was brainwashed into joining the group on Twitter, something Raine denied. It was then mentioned that Grimes would face Gacy in what is being billed as their final match against one another.
Here is the lineup for next Tuesday’s show:
- NXT Women’s Tag Team titles: Kayden Carter and Katana Chance defend against Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons
- Five minute challenge: Brutus Creed vs. Damon Kemp
