Tonight's SmackDown takes place from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Last week, Adam Pearce fined Brock Lesnar $1 million in addition to his indefinite suspension. Pearce suspended Lesnar two weeks ago after Lesnar beat up The Usos, referees, and officials during a brawl with Roman Reigns. After Pearce announced the suspension, Lesnar returned to the ring and gave Pearce two F-5s.

King Woods knighted Kofi Kingston as Sir Kofi last week and made him the Hand of the King. Later that night, The New Day defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in a non-title match.

Reigns didn't appear on last week's SmackDown, but he'll be back on the show tonight.

SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair defeated Shotzi in a non-title match last week after Shotzi almost collided with Sasha Banks. After the match, Shotzi blamed Banks and viciously beat her down.

Shayna Baszler defeated Naomi last Friday after Sonya Deville made herself the special guest referee for the match. Naomi and Baszler will face off again tonight.

SmackDown is back on Fox tonight after airing on FS1 last week due to the World Series. Our live coverage begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

Roman Reigns Segment

Universal Champion Roman Reigns, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos, and Paul Heyman made their way to the ring to start SmackDown. Michael Cole noted Reigns had held the title for 432 days. They recapped King Woods knighting Sir Kofi and beating The Usos later that night.

The fans broke into a loud "You Suck" chant. Pat McAfee claimed they were chanting, "Thank you, Roman." Reigns noted he wasn't on SmackDown last week because he took a vacation after beating up Brock Lesnar. He demanded that the little no-name town acknowledge him. The fans erupted in boos.

Reigns said he had a great week on vacation with his wife. He pointed out that Lesnar didn't have a good week because he got fined and suspended. Reigns took credit for Lesnar's suspension. Reigns asked Heyman what else happened last week. Heyman thought he was talking about him and mentioned Kayla Braxton bothering him. He then realized that Reigns was talking about The Usos losing to the New Day. The fans broke into a loud "New Day Rocks" chant.

Reigns likes the New Day and thinks they're entertaining, but they're not better than the Bloodline. Reigns couldn't understand how The Usos lost and called them the greatest tag team. He asked the Usos which one of them got pinned last week, and they pointed at each other.

Jimmy admitted he got pinned. The fans broke into another "New Day Rocks" chant. Jimmy promised to make it up to Reigns by kicking the crown off of King Woods' head and making them acknowledge the Tribal Chief.

The New Day's music hit, and they made their way to the ring. Sir Kofi introduced King Woods. Woods assumed the king sits at the head of the table. The New Day mocked Reigns, and the fans chanted "New Day Rocks." Woods challenged Jimmy to a match tonight and promised to acknowledge Reigns if he lost. However, if Jimmy loses, then Jimmy has to bend the knee to King Woods.

Jimmy said he wouldn't bend the knee, and Jey agreed. Reigns held his hand out, and Heyman yelled at Jey to put the mic in his hand. Reigns took the mic and accepted the challenge.

They recapped Shayna Baszler beating Naomi last week with special referee Sonya Deville.

Drew McIntyre defeated Ricochet (3:40)

McIntrye and Ricochet had a good match while it lasted.

McIntrye came to the ring and demanded someone accept his open challenge. Ricochet's music hit, and he made his way to the ring. He warned McIntrye that none of the pec flexing and catchphrases would stop him from slapping McIntyre in the face. Ricochet then slapped McIntrye across the face.

A furious McIntrye backed Ricochet in the corner and threw him across the ring. Ricochet fought back and sent McIntrye to the floor. Ricochet attempted a hurricanrana off the apron, but McIntyre caught him. He then slammed Ricochet on the apron.

They showed Mustafa Ali watching the match in the back.

Ricochet caught McIntrye with a springboard crossbody and hit a standing shooting star press. McIntrye stood up and hit a brainbuster for a near fall. The finish came when Ricochet went for a moonsault, but McIntyre hit the Claymore kick in mid-air for the win. That was an awesome finish.

In the back, Kayla Braxton interviewed The New Day. Kingston called Braxton the town gossip. Woods promised to defeat Jimmy Uso later and make him bend the knee.

Back from the break, Mustafa Ali approached Ricochet in the locker room and asked to form a tag team next week. Ricochet turned him down and called him a jerk. Ali didn't appreciate that comment.

Happy Talk

Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss mocked Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs. They made some bad jokes and laughed uncontrollably. Corbin then introduced their guests The Viking Raiders, making their SmackDown debut.

Moss noted the Viking Raiders don't seem happy. Erik said they're not there to be happy, and Ivar added they were there to raid Happy Talk. Corbin and Moss mocked The Viking Raiders and made some bad puns. The Raiders didn't appreciate the comedy and started destroying the set.

The Viking Raiders defeated Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss via Count Out (5:14)

This was an okay match that dragged and had a lame finish.

He almost dropped Moss on his head. Ivar climbed to the top rope, but Corbin pulled Moss out of the ring. Corbin and Moss then walked out and lost by count-out.

Sami Zayn ran into Hit Row backstage. Zayn claimed Hit Row's debut last week sucked. Ashante "Thee" Adonis was offended and he got in Zayn's face, but Top Dolla stopped him. Top Dolla then asked Zayn to show them how to do an entrance. Zayn agreed and started walking to the ring.

Sami Zayn and Hit Row Segment

Sami Zayn made his entrance and "danced" on the stage. He jumped and rolled around the stage. He bragged about his entrance and noted he's a true superstar. Zayn believes he should lead Hit Row and introduced them.

At first, Hit Row praised Zayn but then started mocking him. They noted they didn't need him to lead them. Top Dolla added that Zayn sucks. There was faint "Sami sucks" chant. Zayn was furious and walked off but warned Hit Row.

In the back, Jimmy and Jey got pumped up for Jimmy's match. Jimmy asked Roman if he's coming with them, but Roman decided to stay in the back.
