Tag Team titles change hands on WWE Raw

In a surprise, Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler are the new Raw tag team champions.

Former champions the B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) were originally supposed to face The Revival for the titles after both Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson scored wins last week against them. However, Ziggler and McIntyre came into acting General Manager Baron Corbin’s office and wanted a title match. Corbin said that if something were to happen to the Revival, they would need to make other arrangements.

As a result, Ziggler and McIntyre jumped the Revival as they were being interviewed, which led to them being inserted into the title match. The duo won the titles from the B-Team after hitting a claymore kick/zig zag combination on Axel. The B-Team held the titles for 50 days, defeating Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules back in July.

The AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas has advertised a match pitting Ziggler and McIntyre against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose for Hell in a Cell later this month. WWE has yet to confirm the match, but other matches advertised for the show that are listed on their website have already been announced.
