WWE NXT ratings down for final episode before revamp

Source: ShowBuzz Daily

WWE NXT averaged 601,000 viewers on the USA Network on Tuesday night, down 16.2 percent from last week. It's the lowest viewership the show has done on USA Network since moving to Tuesday nights.

NXT finished 31st on cable with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 17.7 percent from last week. It's the lowest demo number for the show on USA since June 29.

The drop seemed to be mainly with younger viewers and particularly with females. NXT drew a 0.06 in the 18-34 demo, which only beat the December 2, 2020 episode for its lowest of all time in that category. NXT also matched an all-time low with females 12-34 with a 0.04 rating, and it set an all-time low with females 18-49 with a 0.08 rating.

As compared to this week in 2020, when NXT aired unopposed on a Tuesday night, NXT was down 28.3 percent in overall viewers and down 36.4 percent in the 18-49 demo.

This was the final NXT episode before the brand's revamp begins next Tuesday.

The chart below shows the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for NXT, along with the 10-week averages prior to this week. Tuesday's episode was down 8.3 percent in viewers and down 12.5 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
